Read me before purchasing.
Alright. Let's get started.One. First and foremost. Do not buy this bag if you don't read this, and are not being brutally honest with yourself. So, to begin, some questions for you.Are you over 6'0?Do you have extremely broad shoulders?Do you go hiking in weather where the nights are high 30's?Do you not have a sleeping pad?If you answered yes, to any of the above, do not buy this bag. It will not suit your needs. My experience (I am 5'7, athletic build) has been decent depending on me.Will I take this bag and my bivy shelter out camping in January? No. Not in any way shape, or form.Would I take it out in April with just my bivy shelter? Ha! Nope!May, june, july, and august? Yes, if I have to.Preferably I would not take it out without my sleeping pad. I have a nice portable insulated pad, that yes, I would take this bag out in late febuary with a pair of thermals. This bag is designed for summer. This bag is designed to keep you cool, not to keep you warm. If you put this bag, on the ground, the ground will leach your heat from you quicker than a tick latching onto a hunting dog.My use is specifically for summer hiking. So this bag is exactly what I wanted.Light weight, compresses amazingly small, and for hot humid summer nights, not something that is going to make me stickier than rolling in a lukewarm cola pool and running through a cotton field.Perfect in that aspect. The only thing I am questioning is the durability. It is thin, very much so. And I am not necessarily a rough and tumble guy on my gear, but I do use it.For the price though, and the compatability with backpack hike in camping, I'll be getting another one of these for sure. The zipper. The zipper the zipper. I read it a lot. The zipper is not bad at all. You just have to use it like a zipper. Make sure material isn't in the way, don't force it if it does stick, look at why it is.Come on y'all, that's just common sense.I was not offered a discount for my review, and this is an honest, and truly unbiased one at that.Best luck in choosing the right bag for you!Update: 5/29/2017After using this bag on several occasions (mind you temperature appropriate) I have concluded that this bag definitely gets to keep my 5 star rating. The zippers still isn't destroyed, more than likely due to me not being too large for the bag and trying to cram myself into it to save a few cents, and I have yet to tear or rip the exterior.Keep in mind, i roll this up and compress it inside my bivy shelter. Shelter, not bag. I do have a little wiggle room to do so.I am very impressed with this little nerf football sized bag.Best regards, and good luck in choosing the bag that is right for you!

Super small and lightweight
Starting out with 4 stars based off initial reaction to this sleeping back. It’s very compact, which is exactly what I’m looking for. When we have a field training exercise I like to go out with just one ruck sack so space is very valuable (the army issue sleeping bags are too bulky for Florida). Feels pretty comfortable and decently padded just from taking it out of the stuff sack and holding it. Rolls up fairly easily to put back into it’s bag and again, stays small, slightly taller than a 17oz water bottle (see pic) and can be compressed even more with the straps. Will update on how it holds up in the field after I get back. Pretty keen to try it out though! (Note: a fellow soldier bought one after I brought it in for us all to see the unboxing, so that’s a good sign)

Amazing little sleeping bag!
So......i bought this for my bug out bag, but decided to take it camping over the weekend. This by far a very thin sleeping bag. I am 5'8 & 165. and I fit perfect in it with extra room to spare. I can curl my legs up and move comfortably. The material feels good on the skin and barely makes any noise at all. It doesn't have the slippery feel. My wife is a super light sleeper and could not hear me moving around at all. I am a very warm sleeper, so this bag was fine for me. The was you set up your tent will make a world of difference as far as being cold at night. I have a 2 person trekking poll pub tent that only has a single wall. I lay down a stretchable mylar survival blanket as my ground tarp to keep the cold ground from absorbing our heat at night, and this works amazingly well. I also sleep om a Klymit Insulated V Ultralite SL sleeping pad that is 4.4 R-value. This will fit in the bag with me, however I choose to have this sleeping bag on top of it because it is a little to claustrophobic for me this way. I sleep with cotton thermals, a fleece cap, a t-shirt and darn tough wool socks at night as well. That being said, I was comfortable at 40 degrees F. Could I be comfortable at 30 F, I don't know because it wasn't 30, lol! However, I believe I would have been fine because I could have put more cloths on if it became a lot colder during the night, which it did not so this is pure speculation. The bag was not to short, and I could cover my head if needed. It packs great and easy, however the only down fall are the zippers. I did not break them, however I noticed they are not heavy duty, so take your time zipping and unzipping this bag.

Mixed feelings
Received this a few days ago and finally tried it out. I have a 50" chest, so it was not exactly roomy. You don't so much sleep in it as wear it. Not roomy like my Kelty 30.Compact size is nice, especially since I plan to use it for motocamping. Claims about ease of putting it back in the compression sack baffle me, though, as I found it was pretty impossible to roll it up because the outer shell is very VERY slippery...almost a two-man job. Finally gave up and stuffed it in, which worked, albeit still not easy. Because of the low price and the compact size, I'll keep it. Just not sure I would recommend it.Update: after much thought, returned this. As usual, Amazon was great about it. If I was not a husky guy, I might have kept it, but I’m spoiled by my Kelty, which is 4” wider at the shoulders.

A sleeping bag that is easy to repack as shown in the image
A sleeping bag that is easy to repack as shown in the image. Purchased for a three-day summer hike in the mountains. It took up very little space and was lightweight to carry along in a backpack. Warm without being bulky! Nice quality.

Poor Quality Control, Tears Easily, Not Suitable for Normal intended Usage
Poor quality control, the seams of the sleeping bag arrived with strands frayed and sticking out. It tore very easily even though I was very careful in using the zipper (the zipper is also cheap in quality, and perpetually sticks throughout one's attempts of operating it).Overall, I am very disappointed considering this was the sleeping bag I settled on to include in my urban travel kit (much less camping). The search continues, I suppose.
