Great line
Only line I use anymore. Casting is second to none and it has a nice round profile so it flies through the guides with ease. 4 stars because the color did fade out but overall I'm very satisfied. I hope you see this review and mark helpful please

Not what it used to be, but still good (not great)
I've been using FireLine for years, I started using the original black line back when it first came out. I took a break from fishing for a few years (why? I don't know) but recently started again. I was picking out some line and knew I had to get my go-to FireLine. I picked the Tracer this time, I have it in 6/14 and 8/20. The strength and feel of the line is like no other, very sensitive and ZERO stretch, even regular braid has a tiny amount of stretch. As for my rating, it would be 5 stars. BUT that would be 5 starts for the original FireLine from back when. This FireLine I have now still has the performance of the old, but now it fades and wears really fast. I have some of this line that is only about a month old and it has gone from dark black and neon green to light grey and faded yellow (nearly white) This line is also starting to fray, I never had these issues with the FireLine of old.Still good performing line, but not amazing like itnused to be.

One of the first and finest of modern fused lines
One of the first and finest of modern fused lines. Been using it for a couple of decades at least. Exceptional strength and knot integrity make this line a real winner. Casts like a dream too. And you can forget about problems with line twist. Win-Win, in my opinion.

Best Price
I bought couple of these to replace my fireline beading thread ,although i notice a bit of difference between them these are less expensive and a good option. I do lot of beading ,especially spiral and herringbone ropes , they eat a lot of thread and these work absolutely best for me and Amazon has the best price.

Not “crystal” but a good braided line
I use the 14 lbs test FireLine Crystal on a small spinning reel (2000 size) and a medium/fast rod with an 8 lbs test fluorocarbon leader for fishing soft plastics. This is my first foray into braided line.Labeling this line “crystal” is misleading — it’s very visible in the water and looks like dental floss, especially with the flat profile. Hence the fluoro leader (attached with an FG knot). Being a coated line, it had some memory in the beginning, but after a few hours of fishing it reduced a bit, as did the line noise. It casts nicely with lighter baits (I generally fish my plastics weightless or with a 1/8 oz. bullet weight) and I’ve otherwise been satisfied with it.

Tie Knots With Ease
I ordered this fishing line after I read on a fishing website that fused braided lines develop fewer wind knots than regular braided line. I do most of my fishing at the beach (salt water) where it is usually very windy. This line is made out of 4 smaller braids and fused together. The result is a stiffer line compared to regular braids and almost feels like plastic. The line is UV resistant and could possibly last a lifetime. This 30 lb line casts out pretty good and I am happy with it. I'm certain that the 20 lb version would cast better but, I went with the 30 lb for added strength and confidence for landing big fish. The best thing about this fused braided line is that you can tie knots with ease. It is so much easier to tie up knots with this line compared to regular braided lines. This line truly makes a big difference in ease and speed of knot tying. It's easy to use every time I tie a knot........all day long.

Best of the best, worth the money.
I use this fishing line for the Atlantic Ocean Surf fishing on a spinning reel. The 20 pound strength of this line is only one way to measure its usefulness. In the ocean, the fish have teeth that melt away Mono line. They also yank hard when they take the bait, making the friction between line and line guides on the pole become an issue... the line can hold up to rough friction and sharp teeth while maintaining its 20lb rating. One more critical mesure of this line is from is itty bitty diameter. I can easily double the amount of line that I place on a reel when comparing it to mono. I get to use a smaller reel... that means that the reel is lighter, less expensive, and less bulky ... these are critical when surf fishing.

FireLine is really hard to beat.
I've been using Berkley FireLine almost exclusively for over 20 years. It love the sensitivity you get from the lack of stretch. It is super low friction, so it slides through the guides really well. I think I'm be able to throw my lures a little further using FireLine vs. a monofilament. It will get a little fuzzy with use, but this does not seem to effect the breaking strength. It's super thin for it's strength, so you can put a lot on your reel. I use it on my largemouth set ups (10lb) as well as my striper poles(14lb). My son is running it on is 5' 6" light weight rod too(8lb). I'll buy more when we need it.

great beading
I love to use Fireline in my beading projects as my tension is not very good with thread, but with Fireline, my work is firmer.

I only trust fireline
After years and years of fireline use with great results, I decided to try two other brands/styles of line and after losing a few expensive sets of rigs + big fish...never again. I won’t ever trust anything but fireline. Great product at a great online price. Very happy with this.

Disappointing
I was disappointed with this product. I've used Fireline before, which is almost indestructible, but this stuff snapped a half dozen times on me in one afternoon, even on the back cast (!), and frayed into 4 stands at the end. Will not buy again.
