It lasted about a month before the bottom plastic piece came off and the rope started to unravel. It is pretty though! Unfortunately we were not able to put the protective piece back on the end.

I wanted a climbing rope for my daughter to use in the backyard, but it seemed like so many had terrible reviews - too rough, too slippery, too narrow for hands to hold properly, etc. I took a chance on this one because the price was good and it said there were free returns. It's a fantastic rope - so happy with it. It's soft, but not too slippery that you're going to slide off of it. We did a rough measurement and it came in at nearly exactly the stated measurement. (It came up 6" short, but my husband paced it out, so there's room for error and I give them the benefit of the doubt.) It's also surprisingly pretty for a climbing rope! My daughter shimmied right up it - and I gave it a try out of nostalgia for my elementary school days (but alas, I'm a long way from then and didn't make it up). At any rate, I'd definitely buy this again - it's a good quality rope for a good price and a great addition to our backyard. I will add the 10' length seems to go quickly and I wondered if we should have bought a longer rope, but by the same token I wouldn't want my daughter more than 10' in the air without lots of padding below, so this is probably fine in the end!

Bought it as a rope swing for my son (in elementary school) , was planning to hang it from the tree in my backyard. But the rope was short and since it’s made of cloth type of material and had opened up in a few places, did not want to take chances and returned it. Had no problem with Amazon return policy.
