It is not very soft inside but it did the trick for the cold Midwest winter.

Car seat only
Ordered this for my LO and although it says car seat and stroller it is way to small for stroller seat, I put it in my Uppababy Cruz with my 5 month old In it and he didn’t fit, I do think it might fit in a car seat but I didn’t try it since I needed it for stroller outings. Also no warm lining inside so probably not great for north east /Midwest winters.
