US Stove CB36 Circulator Blower

I have mine installed on the back of my Grand Teton wood stove. GT no longer makes wood stoves, so I was unable to find a blower for mine, so I found this and love it. I set mine up with a thermal switch, so it turns on the moment the stack reaches 90 degrees. It's not horribly loud on the highest setting, but if you want a fan to blow heat you're going to hear it.

This blower installs easily, pops right in and screws right into place. It supplies a decent amount of airflow. I would consider using high temperature caulk between the vent and blower, and at the exterior bottom of the vent to improve any air loss when the blower is in use.

This fan works with my Ashley wood stove model AW2020E. The OEM fan option was double the price, but luckily was able to get the part number from the manual and this fan is it. Was pretty easy to install.

Just what we needed. Great blower.

Wood burning stove

The variable speed knob was problematic out of the box. The fan made loud noises from day 1 like it was struggling and after less than a year of use, maybe used for 20 fires in the stove, the fan will no longer rotate to blow air at all. The fan tries to spin up but never quite gets there. It did this from the beginning but would eventually start spinning and blow the hot air out of the back of the stove. Now it will not spin at all. I would have tried to return it but it took 1 year from time of purchase until I got the stove installed to start using it.

Meh. Not sure it makes much of a difference. It may. I just really can't tell. A box fan may be better.

this fan is a must if u have a wood stove. before i purchased this i noticed that my back bedroom wasnt getting warm enuff. after i got this and used it one time i could tell a big difference. it attaches to the back of ur wood stove and blows heat out to warm the house evenly. i love it....u will to. been using it over a yr now and well worth the $ and shipping was fast.
