Finally, a quality warm jacket, excellently made and its windproof too! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! The style is different than regular arm holes, giving you the option to wrap up the underneath Velcro and go, but I just leave it all together (like it arrived with the Velcro neatly closed) and easily slip it over my dogs head, then just slide his front paws into the arm holes and go! There's a soft elastic loop at the end giving you the option to put his tail through there...(what?!...sounds gross ewwww) yet after jokingly trying his tail through the loop, the jacket fit even better and his tail kept the loop away from being soiled, which was a health concern for me. With or without using the loop on your dog's tail, you will love this jacket, don't hesitate to grab one. The fabric is high quality and it's very well made.The waterproof outer fabric has a nice, soft, satin texture, then there is a nice insulating layer and finally the lining layer. Initially I thought no way this would be warm enough for winter, but once I tried to bliw through the fabric, realizing it was far better windproof fabric than all the others I've had, I was thrilled! We suffer 45 mph winds off the Chesapeake Bay all winter and it can be brutal, especially trying to find the right jacket for my partially hairless Chinese Crested dog. He weighs 19 pounds with a 20" girth (big rib cage, not fat) the Large fit him really well and was not too tight. Usually jackets for his size are snug, but the cut of this design is wonderful. Oh, the gray piping adds nice detail and it's a reflective strip. On a cold day, some warm pajamas and this jacket would be perfect. On a very cold day, I'd add a tiny t-shirt under the pajamas, then this great jacket. It's well made, far better than any other "raincoat" I've bought before. That might be a problem because now, I'm going to have to get it in a second color! I wish there was more than four color choices! Enjoy 🙋🏼

This is a really nice coat and the small fit my 9 lb shih tzu like it was made for him. The only downfall, if you have a male, is that the underside is a little too long so he might end up whizzing on it a little. It didn't cover him, but just long enough so that it got a little on it. I am going to try and fold it in a little and sew it to see if we can prevent this from happening again.

Wonderful product, one for my 43 pound dog XXL and it is wonderful, the seamstress was fantastic and the workmanship was perfect. As my dog gets older, near 10 yrs. he loses weight so we must keep him warm and this coat is the BEST we have ever bought and we have had 5 dogs. The fleece is so warm and soft. The top is poly and will protect him in a heavy.We also bought a matching blue coat for his baby sister, a little under 5 lbs. heavy. Wish it was a little tighter, or more truthfully I wish she was about one pound heavier. I purchased one outdoor waterproof fleece lined dog coat and came back for three moret! What I like most about the coat is that it covers the entire chest area of my dogs which helps keep them clean and dry when taking walks or just playing in the yard. The coat has three velco closures (neck and both sides of chest) which makes it easy to get a great fit. There is a thin reflective strip detail and a hook loop for hanging. My windbreaker keeps me warm so hopefully my pups are just as warm. I purchased size small for my 11-12 pound S***Tzu and size medium for my 14 pound Havaneze. Coats arrived quickly!

I put a lot of time into researching before I purchased this dog coat, and it paid off. It is quality made and is perfect for wet weather. It is long enough to cover down to the tail. The fleece lining is of moderate weight. It provides enough warmth for weather as low as about 20 degrees. I have another heavier coat for more frigid cold weather. The Velcro makes it very easy to put on and take off. The small slit at the neck is great for attaching the leash to a harness/collar. This product is worth the money and I would definitely recommend it.

I have a boxer and he doesn't like the coat. It sits back so far on his body and I think pulls and makes it uncomfortable so he rubs his body against trees trying to scrape it off. So the outer thin nylon material is ripped up. I love the coat. It is really sharp looking and warm. I wish it fit better.

Loved the back length on these as it went all the way to the tail. However, the underneath section, even with the 'v' cutout area did not give enough clearance for my two male dogs to miss the bottom of their jackets when peeing. After two days of use I cannot get the urine smell out even with two soaks in Nature's Miracle.

I purchased an extra large, based on measurements, for my 6 month old boxer. He weighs 40-45 lbs. Boxers have a very deep chest and the coat fits well with a little more room. Most dog coats attach lower on the Bobby which is a problem for boxers. The strap gets in their way and is way to loose. I think this coat is designed for smaller dogs, not large breeds, but it will work for a few months. I will look for this type of coat closure on my next purchase.
