Flippin' FROG XL is part of a complete pool care system that utilizes our patented mineral formula in the top cartridge with low levels of chlorine from the bottom chlorine cartridge to destroy bacteria, help maintain pH and restore water clarity. Simply connect, set the dial and tether to the pool. Everything is pre-filled and contained for no mess, no guess and no stress pool care. The Flippin' FROG XL maintains the free chlorine level. pH is affected by weather and the make-up of your source water. Remove outer packaging from both the mineral and chlorine cartridges of Flippin' FROG XL. Align the chlorine cartridge with tab guides on the mineral cartridge. Push together until you hear the cartridge click into place. When the product is almost empty, it will slowly flip over giving you notice that it's about time to replace. When it completely flips over release the chlorine cartridge by squeezing the tabs and pull the empty cartridge out. Follow the start-up procedures. Do not remove the chlorine cartridge until the system has completely flipped. If the chlorine cartridge contains a small amount of chlorine after the system has flipped over, hang on the tether via the hook on the side of the cartridge until completely empty. Do not allow chlorine cartridge to sink to the bottom or pool bleaching may occur. When completely empty, discard in trash or offer for recycling. This kit comes complete with one green mineral FROG and 6 orange chlorine cartridges. The mineral FROG will last on average 6 months. The orange chlorine cartridges on average need to be replaced every 3-4 weeks.

I am so excited they make this!
When I bought my above ground pool about 3 years ago, it came with a frog chlorination system that was hard mounted in the plumbing line of the pump. It worked great at keeping the pool clean, but when it came time to unscrew the lid and put in a new cartridge, the top would leak like crazy. I ended up throwing the whole thing away and have been struggling with a myriad of chemicals since. When I saw this I just about did a back flip! Finally the ease of less chlorine, softer water in a dispenser that is fool proof. I just put it in my pool about 1/2 hour ago. I am so thrilled and relieved that except for weekly shock, my pool will be easy to maintain. Yay!

These are great!
Since start up of our pool this and a weekly shock is all that has been necessary to keep it crystal clear. These are so easy to use, a little pricey but will continue to use due to ease and results.

Don't waste your money!
It did not dispense any chlorine to my pool. I unfortunately had a mustard algae problem that it did not keep under control or prevent. I instead had to do my own research and purchase Clorox tablets and shock which has worked wonderfully.
