Saw the documentary on CNN and had to get the book. Was not disappointed! The book follows the documentary very closely and was I enjoyed reading this very much!

Excellent book.

Just OK. I expected to be glued to each page by incredible revelations-not so much. Nothing new here.

Balanced presentation

Reading it aloud with my wife. So far, so good.

A good balanced and interesting read of the various alleged artifacts associated with the historical Jesus - well argued and laid out.

Finding Jesus provides the history and context of selected Christian relics, such as the pieces of the original cross found in many churches and the Shroud of Turin. It also gives historical context to certain of the alternative gospels or commentaries that have surfaced during the past century. Even though I am fairly well read and have taken a Great Courses in alternative Christian theories from this era, I found the historical background to be new and insightful, not to mention very interesting.
