AllPro RV Wi-Fi Range Extender Hotspot

WOW! Simple to install, good instructions. What makes it different? 1. It shows all access points to connect to even if they have the same name. My computer only shows the most powerful one that is nearest. This allows you to pick another access point that might be less utilized than the one you are sitting next to. It gives you more information about the signal strength and noise levels for each access point. Which quickly tells you how close you are and what you might expect. Being a bit of a geek I tried a directional antennae to focus my signal to a specific access point and it was even better. They ship it with an omni-directional antennae which is great for most since you do not have to change the antenna direction or make any changes, but I live in a very crowded RV park near a freeway and there is a ton of WiFi noise around. The directional helped focus in a 90 degree area and not pickup up all the noise. I emailed support and got a response in an hour over the weekend. I did not want to mount to my roof so I attached it to my ladder at the very top. My park also uses Tengo internet and it is a pain since you can only connect one device to it. This device is the only one I connect and all my other devices work behind it Viola !! How did I manage before I got this?

This product has no customer support, none of the numbers listed go to anyone that calls back ever. I have been trying to contact sales or support since I purchased this 3 years ago, every time I pull this thing out for use it never works without having to reset everything and takes a rocket scientist to configure when you move from 1 park to another. it only worked for a few months and then no support and no contact from anyone. I don't know why I put myself through trying to get it to work every year I come to Florida but this is the last. Afraid to sell it because I do not know if it is me not knowing what I am doing or the device that does not work but I feel like I was taken on this deal.

So far hasn't lived up to it's advertisement! I'm having problems getting fast internet on my home network with high wifi bandwidth for streaming movies on a Smart TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV for Hulu and Netflex. It appears built in router Ethernet speed handles only 10/100 mbps not 1000 mbps but I can be wrong? I'm still waiting for support to help clarify this and make setting changes.... Unfortunately, I cannot return kit due to paid pricey custom installation on my RV. This system may be useful for simple WiFi Hotspot internet browsing such as Starbucks, McDonald's, etc. but if you're looking for high speed internet & streaming this might not be a good choice...Safe money! Use your cell phone instead...Hope problem is just a software based but will give an update as soon as I get something...

I have called and emailed. the guy on the phone says send them an email. I did twice NO RESPONSE !! the router wont connect to the computer. I am an IT professional I followed instructions to the letter. I just want to communicate with the router at this point to access settings. I believe the ip addresses provided in instructions are incorrect.....PLEASE SOMEONE CONTACT ME !!!!

What I liked was the first year it actually worked what I do not like is the second-year it did not work, sent into PDQ to get fixed at the beginning of this year 2018 June and as of the middle of August 2018 I have not got it back from support

Works great. Directions are a little misleading as to how to initiate the unit.. but all is well now
