Bodipedic 3-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper and Cover Set, Size Queen

I've waited to post a review to give enough time to give a good review. I like this memory foam topper. I did not experience any unusual smells, just briefly smelt the foam, nothing lingering. It is very supportive. I would warn people who may have any mobility issues, you will have trouble moving around on this topper. I have not noticed any tossing or turning, I sleep good. It is big, I have a queen size King Koil mattress and it is just slightly bigger than the mattress, and I mean slight. I have not noticed being hot, but I never sleep with covers just sheet. Overall happy with purchase.

I only gave this a one star because I couldn't give it none. I don't know who's paying people to write these reviews but don't believe a word of it. First of all I did my homework on a memory foam mattress topper after sleeping on a tempurpedic at a relatives house in which I slept through the night for the first time in YEARS. I've had two spinal surgeries one on my back and one on my neck in the last 6 months and suffer from chronic pain. I'm only forty and have been desperate for a good nights sleep. First of all I ordered this after reading reviews for more than an hour. I chose this particular one because of the reviews and the promised two day shipping. Well wouldn't take know it, I waited for 10 days to receive the product, even email the vendor saying I would like to cancel and reorder elsewhere after 5 days of it but even showing it had shipped out. They said it was impossible to cancel so I waited and waited. When it finally came I was so relieved and couldn't wait to get the best sleep in years. I almost cried when I opened it. It's a flimsy memory foam like material with no weight to in whatsoever. True memory foam is thick and takes some pressure in order to indent. This did not. It's summer and didn't take long to get to its full 3 inch thickness after opening. When i pressed on it, the foam bounced right back. "Memor foam" with no memory. I sighed and put it on my bed thinking I'll give it a chance even though in my heart I knew it was not going to help at all. I literally sunk into the mattress and fell asleep. Sure enough less than 2 hours later I woke up in more agony than I had been in for awhile- much more than I ever had with my regular high-end mattress alone. I was too tired and sore to take the topper off so I ended up on my couch for the rest of the night. The kicker here is that the topper came not from Amazon or the vendor listed, but overstock.com. I have used overstock once only because it took a month to get a shower curtain from them and they have horrendous return policies. And as luck would have it, opened packages and memory foam mattresses are on the list of products that are not eligible for return or refund. Now I'm stuck with a POS floppy, soft, 180 dollar foam nightmare. I'm in the process of contacting Amazon to try and get a refund, but either way this was a total waste of my time. I'm a nurse practitioner and I only weigh 135 pounds. If you have back pain you know that a firm surface is better for pain relief and sleep. This is NOT firm at all and not true memory foam. If you're looking for a knock off or just a very soft expensive mattress cover then you've found the right topper for you.

THICK Mattress topper! Be CAREFUL unrolling/unpacking it! you could tear the foam by forcing it if you're not careful, so give yourself a few hours (you wont use them all) Set aside a room in the house where you can have it at least partially elevated (we draped ours over a guest room couch with one corner and side by the wall while the other two draped... and let gravity slowly stretch it length & width wise, we gave it 72 hours to air out though the smell is there and I'm super sensitive to smells, this one didn't bother me.YOU WANT MEMORY FOAM WITH A SMELL (it means it's new and wasn't sitting in a warehouse for years dry-rotting)if your memory foam doesn't have a smell you're SOLSize: We bought the Queen size and it fit perfect once we let it fully expand & stretch, we also SLOWLY helped it along after 48 hours of expanding by reaching to the middle and pulling slowly & steadily in all directions..Comfort: My other half is around 170 while I push 130 and our first night was heaven, firm at first but with GIVE, dont JUMP on the bed... just like memory foam should be. regular foam or bad memory foam is much softer, you dont want that, you want it to be able to give support. This improved our sleep the VERY FIRST NIGHTI chose this mattress after reading LOTS of reviews & research from Sleeplikethedead dot com & after reading about 60 of the ones from the MEMORY FOAM SOLUTIONS that's currently the best seller/highest reviewed on amazon.it seems to be a hit-or-miss with a lot of return issues, I originally found this one through sleep like the dead and overstock but luckily found a way to order it though amazon even though it wasn't prime :)Love that it came with a snug fitting cover, which made it more like the tempurpedic's i've tried out. Which is our next purchase!

Bought the wrong size by accident. Electric knife did a good job cutting it down to full size.

This is the fourth mattress I've purchased. Since the family felt my mattress, everyone had to have one. These are now the popular wedding, Christmas, birthday gift. I think it is even better than a full memory foam mattress. I have it on top of a medium-firm mattress and this provides the comfort that my back and hips require. I sleep better on this mattress and when I am away from it, I notice the difference. I recommend the Bodipedic mattress over all others. With Amazon shipping for free, and you get it in a few days, it's great. The first week this mattress has a smell; let it air outside if possible, turning over to air out. After that, no problem.

The mattress topper was purchased in the hope it would alleviate some of the pain from knee problems. It did just that. So much so that another was purchased for someone else in the home to alleviate shoulder pain associated with arthritis. Another win. Neither owner is pain free, but they can at least get some sleep. Great that it comes with a cover.

Loved it initially. Found it incredibly comfortable. After 2 years though the foam became noticeably softer. It lost it's supportive nature and I developed back pain so had to get rid. This has 3 lb density foam. I weigh 185 pounds and perhaps a 4 lb density would last longer.

Amazing! Makes me not want to get out of bed. Recovering from back injury and my first night and thereafter on this topper has been like heaven!
