The media could not be loaded.  This is probably the best of the three timers I ordered from Amazon. It has a strong stable magnet, supports hours, minutes, and seconds for long bakes and such,and is reasonably easy to set.I like these times because of the large display, and the color of them. They don't blend in with my fridge or my range hood. Like I said the timers offer a large display with minutes and second, the screen is not back lit which would of been a great feature. The buttons are big, and do not require a ton a pressure to activate. The alarm noise is loud and we can hear it upstairs when it goes off. The times offer an off feature which is great for saving battery life. There is a memory option so if you use the same time consistently that is very handy.

Got this to replace a couple of old digital ones that are at the end of their lifespan, my old ones are not working as they used to and the alarm has gotten quieter. These replacements are nice and cheap and get the job done.Pro's:+Easy to use.+nice big buttons.+ easy to clean and no gaps, around the buttons, to allow food to enter the device.+On off switch on the side to save battery life.+Loud alarm.Cons:+Magnet on the back is one of those cheap short life plastic ones not a metallic longer life one.+Magnet on the back isn't glued onto the timer very well, the timer fell off my fridge when and the magnet stayed where it was.+Magnet on the back isn't very strong.+Pull out stand is a little thin and feels weak (easily breakable)I would recommend it, but the magnet and feeble stand are it's only drawbacks, everything else was above expectations.

Having a pack of two is great as my children have one each, which they use to time their daily screen time allowance (they earn that in 15 minute blocks), and also for reading, homework etc. They like setting them themselves, and putting them on magnetic surfaces seems to be an extra feature they like. It’s helped stop us (parents) from letting the kids waste their lives away in front of screens and helps the kids make better use of their screen time and order activities.

I needed a timer but more to the point, I needed a timer that just 'times' and this fits the bill. It doesn't have a clock, it doesn't play music and it won't talk to you....Brilliant! Large numbers that count down the time, easy to set and loud noise when it's finished. I knocked off a star for the magnet....the magnet stuck to the fridge but the glue holding the magnet to the timer failed. Not a problem as there's a little stand you pull out. I can't say this is the most sturdy product and if kids are around it for long I suspect it won't last the course but for me, this is just the job.This was a double pack so I have one is reserve or can use it to time more than one thing. I can't comment on battery life as I have only used it for less than a week put it takes one normal AAA battery.

I use these in the kitchen for timing everything (that needs timing).You can use it as a countdown timer for boiling eggs and baking or roasting in the oven - but also as a count-up timer for timing espresso shots etc.The alarm is loud and insistent. I don't know if it turns itself off - I've never let it go on for long enough!This particular model also has an on/off switch which turns the display off altogether - although, to be fair, it's not exactly unobtrusive in its bright orange jacket!

I AM TERRIBLE FOR PUTTING GADGETS ON CHARGE &THEN FORGETTING THEM. THESE 3inch x 2 3/4 inch ( 7 1/2cm x 7cm ) HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM WITH THEIR 1 1/2inch x 2 1/2 ( 6 x 3cm ) SCREEN WHICH IS STILL EASILY READABLE WITHOUT BACKLIGHTING. I USE THE INCORPORATED STAND SO CANNOT COMMENT ON THE MAGNET ISSUES I HAVE READ IN OTHER REVIEWS. EASY TO SET, THE BEEPING IS A LITTLR ANNOYING AND POINTLESS HOWEVER THE ALARM IS EASILY HEARD IN A DIFFERENT ROOM. WITH A CHOICE OF COLOURS I WOULD SAY THAT THESE ARE VALUE FOR MONEY. NEGATIVE POINT APART FROM THE BEEPING WHEN SETTING IS THE LACK OF AN HOUR BUTTON.

Received this timer this morning put in a battery & put it on my fridge (magnet) stopped about 1.5/2 hours later or a mineral heard a noise & my new timer was on the floor beside me & the magnet was still on the fridge ie never used or abused & broken within 2 hours what can I say. I wonder if the second one is similar? Best Rgds., Richard S

Good for the price, however the on/off switch can be awkward to use for anyone with arthritis or anyone who doesn't have a lot of strength in their fingers.The timing screen is quite large and easy to see. Timer is easy to set and clear.Noise could be a little louder but is adequate.Altogether a reasonable bit of kit.
