These hemostats are very sturdy and I could open them with no problems. They arrived as promised. I would recommend these!

Good construction and works well. Lock feature is handy.

For a while I only had tongs without a locking feature, so when I would attempt to feed my ball pythons, I'd have to spend about 5-10 minutes at a time wiggling thawed rats around my stubborn snakes and my hand would get tired and I'd usually end up scaring my snakes whenever I'd drop it accidentally. If you're needing tongs with grip and easy to hold, this might just be for you. Plus they're long enough so I won't risk having my hand become dinner.

We’ll be using these for reptile, mostly feeding/handling rats…definitely strong enough to do so 👍Good quality product whatever your using it for.

This will serve the purpose intended but it is not a highly precision tool. The clamp ends don't match up and there is a wobble in the pivot. I intend to use it for reaching a hard to get at insulation in a automobile for installing wiring though the firewall. If you need it for more intricate work look elsewhere.
