Bought this due to good reviews and price. Wanted a dash cam for protection against false claims if I were in an accident. Know several people who needed one of these. Have had this operational for about a month. Fairly easy to install able to hide all the wires. Mounted the back camera near the top of the cab in the back of my pickup so I get a high view and not just the grill of the car behind me. Likes: Front camera is great. Operates well and has easy menu. I can watch recordings from the unit itself or on my computer. Dislikes: Back camera seems to be stuck on night mode (or is severely over exposed). Works pretty well at night or at dusk but during the bright daylight in Arizona the screen appears almost white. Very difficult to use it as a rear view mirror as it is intended. Have to use my side mirrors during the day. The front mode recording is working well and recording well but the back camera is an issue. I am going to keep it but not sure I would recommend it solely because of my experience with the back camera. May be a problem with my specific unit so hope other users are having better luck. Would be an outstanding two thumbs up if the back camera worked well.

For what I was expecting, it's a good unit. At night headlights from other cars overwhelm the rear camera. Glare on the mirror isn't a big deal to me. I just use my oem mirror's night mode when I don't want glare, and switch it when I want to look directly out the back window. My only real complaint is when the unit is mounted on my mirror I can't use my sun visor, because the camera interferes.

It’s hard to choose an excellent driving recorder(dash cam). I’ve purchased more than 5 recorders from a variety of brands, and all of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. My experience is that consumers should choose according to their own environment of use. I think the advantages of this recorder is that it enables dual-channels recording (SoC supports for video recording through the front windshield as well as through the rear window or inside the vehicle), Full 1080p HD, and capture in the low light conditions. My old car doesn’t have Rear Parking Sensors. This product integrates the rear-view mirror with the reversing display, which perfectly solves this problem, and it’s very easy to install. Also, it has another advantage that the display is large enough to expand the view behind the vehicle and it’s glare-proof.

I really enjoy the system, both the reverse and the forward camera, but I can't get the automatic reverse function to work. I've connected the rear camera's wire to the positive of the reverse light of my truck, and nothing. I did use a 2.5 mm plug extension so the rear camera lead could reach the display. Could that be the cause of my issue? I will change the rating as soon as I can get feedback.

Everything is great except that the cable is not long enough to work on my 2012 Honda Civic which is a small sedan. I had to add another 3 or 4 feet of cable to make the connection. Other than that, all is fine.

This is the third cameras I bought for my car. Compare the two I bought before, this one come with both front and rear cam, with back cam it made parking much more easy. And the front 1080 true hd resulotion mirror almost capture every single tiny movement , night vision also record fairly clear images when I driving in the dark. However back cam installation is bit hard for non handy people, after watch YouTube video, it shouldnt be a issue.

I find that I cannot make out anything in the front or rear mirror except while the car is sitting still. While driving the images are too dark. Can this be adjusted?

Works very well on both of my Cadillac’s - just as advertised.Would love to see WiFi connectivity in the future without raising the Cost of the device.
