Excellent Read!
This is a great review of the R-44 procedures with an experienced pilot’s input based on his training and experiences.

Info is Solid, but the book is dated....
Info is Solid, but the book is dated....For example AD's and SB's which are relevant are not covered...and I think this book warns about -6 Blades. I don't know anyone with -6 blades. They have been out of production for a LONG time.

Excellent Book. Totally worth buying. 5 Star rating.
This is an amazing book. I am a Private Pilot with 150 Hours and this is a perfect book for my purposes. He clearly states that it is not a substitute for the POH but is a great reference document when learning and getting up to date on details. I would highly recommend this book to all pilots and students. Its a must buy for the cost.

Follows Robinson POH, a bit redundant.
Kinda light on additional data from POH. Sort of a review really. Maybe better for new pilots.

Good for learning R44 Rotorcraft systems
The book is a good book for learning to fly the R44. It's not a replacement for the FAA's Helicopter guide for flight knowledge but this book will guide you through aircraft specifics. There are several grammar and spelling errors too

An easy and comprehensive read.
This book gives a comprehensive overview about the Robinson R44 helicopter. From easy to read diagrams, good pictures on internals and externals. I'm in the early stages of learning how to fly and this book is easy to read and gives me a good understanding of everything that has to do with flying an R44. This is not a book intended to the replace the Pilot's Operating Handbook, but it is a valuable addition and a good resource for those who want to fly, like to fly and have been flying the R44.

Worth a read
Interesting book that I bought out of curiousity as I am thinking of converting from 22's to 44's.

An easy to read and detailed account of how to fly the Robinson R44.
I found this book easy to read, with well written text and clear diagrams. Any prospective R44 helicopter pilot should get this book as it provides a 'one stop shop' for all the relevant information needed to fly the Robinson R44.

Most comprehensive booklet I have found
I have bought 3 booklets on the R44 : this one from John Toal, the Pooley’s by Graeme Cash and the one by Bastian Liebermann. The Pooley’s really dull, with no valuable extra information. The booklet by Bastian Liebermann is a little more comprehensive but the strange style and punctuation often make it really hard to understand!Only this booklet from John Toal has a lot of valuable information that’s not found in the POH, specially about the different systems. It is by far the most interesting and comprehensive.
