Orbo Jr. 4GB Android 4.4 Wi-Fi Tablet PC w/Beautiful 7” Five-Point Multitouch Display – Special Kids Edition - Green

We got this for my daughter on July 31st, 2015. It arrived on August 10th. It has ridiculously low storage; I had to use a memory card so she could have more than about four things on it, and even then, the memory card can only store things, games on it can't be played unless they are moved to the internal storage. The battery charges quickly, but doesn't last long. She only got three to four hours of use per charge, which is short battery life compared to other products of a similar size. That alone should tell you how cheaply it's made.If that wasn't enough to prove that point, this will really drive it home. She had it about a week or so when the charging port broke and fell into the tablet. So we sent it back for a replacement offered by the seller. We sent it back on August 19th. The replacement took two weeks to get to us - it arrived yesterday afternoon (September 1, 2015). This morning, the charging port broke and fell into the tablet. Twice in the space of three weeks, most of which was waiting for the thing to arrive, we've had this tablet break in the exact same way.Don't buy this for your kids. It isn't worth it. Save yourself the frustration and get them a better quality device.

This tablet must be avoided. Here's why...1. The Apps crash constantly. So bad that most, if not all, of them are unplayable.2. The battery drains at an extremely fast pace. You pretty much have to have it connected 24/7 to use it.3. The battery charge port is very loose. You pretty much have to connect the cable in JUST the right spot to let it charge or it will not read it.4. Out of the box, you basically have no memory. We purchased a 32gig SD Card to really boost performance and keep the hard drive clear and clean....but it did nothing. The tablet still operates extremely slow.5. WiFi connection, no matter how strong your signal, is very weak. I have a fantastic setup at home for family sharing wifi with a strong signal. This meant nothing with the Orbo. Loading a simple web page takes forever.6. My kid hates it. He never uses it and only wants my iPhone because it actually works.I've now returned this item and there's no chance I'd ever try an Orbo product again. I completely regret purchasing the few Apps that I did for it. Oh well, at least I'm done with it.

Dec 22nd it arrived...great! Before Christmas and it was expected after! Started to get it ready, downloading apps, etc. noticed the resolution was terrible compared to the blue one I purchased (bought both at the same time) and this was supposed to be the "newer" version. I could download the apps, but when it went to install I kept getting errors...on all the apps...other tablet was fine. This one also wasn't packaged like the other one which was clearly "new". Very disappointed...can't give one child a tablet and not the other. Really sucks... Will change my rating if the new one I ordered is overnighted in time for Christmas...doubtful.

UPDATE: I RETURNED THE TABLETS- DECIDED TO GO WITH THE AMAZON KIDS TABLET. A HAPPY CUSTOMER NOW. It's a good tablet for daily basic use, but definitely NOT tablet designed kids, false advertising! The catch is.... You are spending your money on the apps you that's The Big picture. Plus you have to purchase a parent control app,hint, $40 bucks annually, cool... NOT. The only reason why I'm not trying to return it is because my kids, 5/6/12 are asking it for Xmas....... Ooh yeah, NO two year warranty either like the kids kindle. So this vendor is misleading by advertising as kids tablet... Take the case off and its a nice tablet, for adults.

I am changing my review on this tablet. It worked great for about 2 months, and then one day it just started showing lines and refusing to turn on. It was too late to return it, so we took it to a professional to see if anything could be done to fix it. It turns out that the company sent us a refurbished tablet instead of a brand new one like we had ordered. The insides had not been put back together correctly and therefore fried the motherboard. My daughter is extremely disappointed. I will never buy this product again.

Really wasn't too happy with this product at all. Bought it for my son for Christmas. Should've paid a little more for the kid's kindle instead. The resolution on the camera is horrible. It runs super slow. Thankfully, my son is 3, so he's not incredibly picky and he enjoys the apps. Also, they advertise this product as bright green. I ordered a matching neon green carry case to go with it, only to be disappointed because the Orbo looks nothing like the picture. It's a soft mint green, not a neon green as pictured.

This tablet was rather disappointing, to be honest. It had very insufficient parental controls, and constantly glitched out. It would turn itself off in the middle of my son playing. The lag time for apps to load was also very long. Like over 3 minutes! That is ridiculous when linked to wifi. We returned it in under 24 hours. No names mentioned, but we purchased a more reputable brand that was much more expensive, but had all kinds of kids apps already loaded, and runs like a champ. Save your money, buy a better tablet for your kids, they deserve it!

I personally wouldn't recommend it... it's hard for my son to get out of the apps because there is no button and he doesn't yet get the concept of swiping the screen. The apps get stuck and you have to shut the whole thing off. I will most definitely be looking for something better. Wish I didn't even waste the money on it. Luckily it wasn't a ton of money..
