Celebrations 5 Indoor Electric Candolier

Been looking for these forever, and after several years of poor substitutions, finally ordered some. I was particularly interested in a hollow base (which these have, after removing a cardboard panel) which allow me to position them in the center of the window over a center latch.These are kind of old school albeit a bit less well made than the ones we remember from the 60s and 70s. Need to be careful screwing bulbs in, it's easy to not go far enough in which case the bulb stays dark, and you think it's a wiring issue (it's not). I think the original models had a screw type bulb socket, this is a less expensive molded socket with metal contacts. I got 4 of these, all worked fine out of the box.My one complaint is the cord length (short, 24" maybe) - but like another reviewer, I'll probably replace the cord at the end of the holidays before putting these away, with cords sized specifically for my condo / outlets, to make it better for next year.Comes with clear incandescent bulbs (7W) which did not seem hot to the touch, but I also ordered 2 x 25pk of LED bulbs - both Warm White and Orange. FWIW, the warm white is just a tad more blue and less bright than the incandescent bulbs, the orange LEDs are significantly dimmer (not like the old school orange incandescent bulbs of my youth) but pleasant enough. Think I'm sticking with orange through xmas and then maybe the warm white through the new year holiday.

The box came in terrible condition, but the unit and lights work just fine. The look is perfect, very stable, and I prefer to plugin the lights, rather than battery operated as so many are these days. I removed a star because its cheap plastic construction for the price, but overall, the look is great.

I have been looking for electric candoliers for years. These are exactly what I wanted. They’re exactly as described and work very well.

I have to admit I like these a lot better than I was anticipating -- ha! I bought them thinking they were battery operated, which is not the case. (I'd just looked at so many, I got mixed up.) At any rate, I thought, well, I can use them on some window where there's an outlet reasonably close. (The cord on these is pretty short, so you'll probably have to use an extension cord.) These don't pretend to be real candles, they don't flicker or move, and they shouldn't. They are what they are. They have a somewhat nostalgic look to them, and I love them. They shine brightly, much more so than the battery-operated ones that I did finally order. I try not to start decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, the forgotten holiday, but I couldn't resist plugging these in and enjoying them here in my office.

Ordered 7 sets. One came completely busted, one blew up after 3 days of use. Flimsy paper bottom. Not worth the money.

Worked three Christmas seasons. Pulled it out this year and one of the outlets doesn't work, rendering it pretty much useless.

I like the fact that they remind me of childhood Christmas memories. I also like the that the product was delivered Before the actual delivery date. Very happy about that.

These certainly add a wonderful element of Christmas to windows! Reminiscent of bygone times. The price was fantastic—-a few years ago, I purchased a pair of these from an online store in the northeast. The price here for a set of two, was what I paid for one set from the other place! These do come with clear bulbs. While they worked prefectly, I did replace the bulbs with silicone dipped bulbs for a softer glow.
