This is a great top for the price! Material is a bit thinner than factory top which is not bad and it fits nice and tight and looks great no leaks and keeps the heat inside in the winter time and does not sag I would definitely recommend this top if you are on a budget and need a new jeep top. Top of the line! The tinted windows are really nice also. I would definitely recomend putting this on in the warm weather that way it softens up a bit.

It wasn't too bad to install. I did it by myself and maybe took little over hour. The paper directions were a bit confusing but I found a video online and was able to install without any issues. Like other people the back window was the hardest to zipper,but my error was not positioning the back flaps correctly, I had them spread too far out. Overall, it was easy to install on 70 degree day, probably would have been easier if it was warmer out. Love the tinted windows, so clear and easy to see out of, my originals were clear with so many scratches. Still noisy when I drive, but like others say, it's a Jeep and it's a 2008! I had a leak at driver's side door with old top, hasn't rained yet so I'm not sure if this solved the issue. Nice top for the price.

I installed this top into my wife’s 2012 2 door jk. The installation went well although it’s says ONLY FOR 07-09 models which was my mistake I did not read the description of the item. The installation went well I had to modify a couple things but by all means i am very happy with this top. The only thing I have to say is the year this top is meant for should be place on the item header (smitybilt 07-09 soft top for Jeep Jku). With that being said I would recommend this top and if install is an issue there are videos on YouTube that you could look at. Instructions are very to the point and pics are dark.

Great fit, great price. Time will tell on how durable it is, but it seems good to me. I recommend having two people for the install process although you can do it solo. Definitely install it on a hot day or it’ll be difficult to stretch it the way you’ll need to.

Unfortunately, I bought this top three months ago so I can't return it. It was one of the first things I bought when I started restoring an 07 JK. I installed the top except for the back window 2 months ago and it fit well and the build quality seemed pretty good. Now 3 months later, I just finished the restore and I can't get the back window to zip past the 2nd top corner. I am very mechanically able and can typically fix just about anything. For the life of me, I can't get the window to zip past the corner. It appears the top zipper is bunched up . I tried everything I can think of. oil, took sides and back loose, released the front, used zip ties on the zipper for more leverage. Any ideas are appreciated before I trash the top and buy another one. I guess this one is you get what you pay for.....:(

This top is a steal for the price. I did see a customer on here leave a bad review because they couldn’t get the rear window on. Most Jeep owners know what a pain that window can be if you zip it up to far. That being said I would strongly suggest you attach the back window before locking everything else into place. It will save you a lot of frustration.

Installed this week (October 25). Product installed fairly easy with help only needed with getting the header started. The tops looks great; however, the rear window was just about impossible to get the final corner zipper around. I am displeased because it was obvious that this portion was not sized correctly. I hate that I will be reluctant to now take and down and put on the top because of this sizing. I feel like I might have gotten a poor quality unit and wish someone from Smittybilt will read this and send a new top. I have always viewed Smitty to be a high quality company. I have my doubts on this particular shipped item. I think something is wrong with the one they shipped. Will update.

Very nice product. It was a pain to install, but after that no problems. We have had it on since May and it is holding up as good as oem. We take the top off a few times a month. There are really no issues what so ever with this product. The material is a little lighter then oem but so close you would never know it was aftermarket. We are loving the tinted back windows, the oem were clear. I am the “guy” that wants good quality cheap and look for a week online before buying for the best deal and quality. Every group of friends has one of me.

Arrived very quickly, good quality...took us about 2 hours to have it fully installed on our JK.
