Keep those Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 sessions going longer. This extended battery is a third party replacement for the one included in your Nintendo Wii U Gamepad controller. It has a larger capacity for longer game play between charges. It will fit inside the Wii U Gamepad without any modifications. Sometimes the battery will have to be charged and depleted a few times before the full capacity can be realized. Remove the 2 screws holding the battery door. Won't hold a charge
Started out only working okay. Not much longer battery life than the original depleted battery. 4 months later, it's completely dead.

Fixed my dead battery
A good replacement for a dead gamepad battery. The screwdriver it came with was the perfect size.

Increased the life on the wii pad by 1 hour not necessarily alot for the amount of money for the battery
