Got a new fire HD kids tablet & I bought this cable specifically for that. It’s easy for little ones to take off and on without bending the connection. Had a lot of issues with a previous Fire tablet and it’s included cord. After a few months I had lots of issues trying to get it to charge properly. Bought a similar magnetic charging cable from a different manufacturer for that tablet and it really extended the life and solve the issue.Decided to get another magnetic charging cable of similar design for this new tablet so there would be no issues from the start. Works well, like the braided feel and construction, highly recommended. Only wish was that it supported the previous cable I bought, but this uses a different pin configuration than the last. Oh well, different companies can make their own design for the same idea.

I think it's really cool my only problem and it's going to be yours too it's a little magnet and and you know what magnets do they pick stuff up they gather up little tiny grains of something is magnetic and cause it not to plug in very well to each other they definitely need little caps so when you're carrying it around in your pocket it's not picking up little pieces of metal from whatever your keys and everything else that you carry around if you get it be prepared to do a lot of cleaning with a toothbrush get the little Crunchies out of there

Guys! These magnetic cables are no gimmick. They're actually fantastic, reliable, cables!When I first saw this idea online I thought for sure that this is one of those things that sounds good on paper, but just doesn't work when actually using it daily. But now when I found these cables that also do data transfer, so it would work in my car with my Android Auto system. So I couldn't resist trying it. And since getting the first one of these like a week ago. And loving it so much. I ordered another 2 pack of a different brand, hoping that it work with my cable too. But it didn't. Those were a little different heads. But I got them for like $10 for the 2. So I'm not sending it back. I'll gift it probably to someone. So then I ordered these cables ,again a 2 pack, this time checking the photos if the heads looked the same as mine. It did. So I got em. And these do indeed work with my first cable. So I have like 3 cables now, for car, home, extra etc etc.And I couldn't be happier with these cables. All of them actually, even the cheapest ones I could find here on Amazon, they're all fantastic cables. They connect to Android Auto very well. Didn't disconnect even ones when driving around. They honestly perform better than my old regular non magnetic cables! Seriously!!One thing I like about this brands specifically, is this one has the LED light on the side. I like it cause in the car it isn't shining into eyes. I think it's smart putting it on the side. (I just wish the light changed colors or strength when connected to the phone. But none of mine do that. They're always just lit when the USB end is connected. No biggie)

This cable system will save you time, money and anxiety. The magnetic functions perfectly. The contact for both charge (fast if your phone/tablet/earpiece has this feature) and data transfer is excellent. Depending on your needs. Keep one (at least) cable in the places you normally would-like vehicles, couch side, bedside, office etcetera. I have mutiple devices and can now use one cable for all of them by using the compatible corresponding GenX (10) tips. These will not interfere with normal use.
