Passing the Risk Management Professional (Pmi-Rmp)(R) Certification Exam the First Time! Paperback – January 31, 2011

Really enjoyed reading this book, great size print, right amount of white space, diagrams simple and easy to understand. Questions and answers all good. I do recommend this book as a book to purchase if you writing the exam.

This book explains more detail about the Risk Management related to the exam. The very good of this book is how it explains the risk responses in graph and makes easier to understand and memorize the risk responses for positive and negative risks.Regarding the exams, among three books I used to help me pass the exam (Risk Management Tricks of the Trade for Project Managers + PMI-RMP Exam Prep Guide by Rita Mulcahy and Study Guide For the PMI Risk Management Professional ® Exam), the practice questions more pooped up on the exam.I read the book cover to cover twice just to help me more understand about the Risk Management based on PMI perspective. Thanks god, I just passed the exam two days ago on my first attempt just like my PMP.My advice for the PMI-RMP candidates, it's easier to understand and pass the RMP exam if you understand the Project Management concept. Because Risk Management has relation with the communication management, time and cost management as well as the procurement management. As long as you understand the concept, you can pass the exam.However, this book does not explain more detail about the risk governance. So you have to have additional reference to understand the risk governance.

This book and the questions were spot on. Really good tips and a great walk thru. PIER-C alone was very helpful. If you already have your PMP, I would recommend this book and very little else. I supplemented it but in retrospect, this was really the one book I needed. (And I passed on the first try!)

Good book for easy reading in preparation for the PMI-RMP exams.

I actually did pass on the first try! This book, while not a match to the latest PMBOK version, was very helpful. There were topics included in here that I didn't find in other prep books -- and it's a good thing they were because they were on the exam!

I bought Kindle format and I recommend it to anyone plan to sit for PMI-RMP exam. It covers most of topics required for PMI-RMP exam and explain it well.It was my main reference topass PMi-RMP Exam.

Good to be consider as a risk refernce, hope you will enjoy with reading it . . . . .

The lesson exercises are helping. The flow and logic being used chapter to chapter makes me confident to take the RMP test Thanks Daniel
