Not as Described = Fahrenheit only.
This is NOT a programmable thermometer, you cannot switch between Centigrade and Fahrenheit. I was buying it for my Greek neighbor, who wanted to record both centigrade and fahrenheit temperatures, as she wanted to record the Fahrenheit for the nurses who come for pallative care for her terminally ill mother, but still wanted to use Centigrade for her own records.This thermometer only gives Fahrenheit, and cannot be switched. or programmed differently.

This brand USUALLY has a louder beep than other brands.
The main selling point of Med Solutions is that most of the units have louder beeps than most digital thermometers of the same type. I don't have the greatest hearing. However, I gave it only 4 stars, not 5, since one of my thermometers is MUCH quieter than the others, and there is a lot of variation from one unit to another (maybe close to a 10 dB variation).

Nice little digital thermometer
Nice little digital thermometer, I only gave four stars because it didn't include any covers so that it can be used by more than one person. I know I can get them elsewhere, and I already do have some, but it would have been nice if it had come with a few included.

Incorrect, inconsistent, and awkward
Incorrect and inconsistent readings, no beep to tell you it's ready, and awkward and uncomfortable. The tapered design makes it impossible to hold in your mouth without using one hand to keep it in place. Made in China. The low price should have been a tip-off to the quality.
