Works well, then again it is only crepe. Price was right and it's a bit larger than some other brands.

Big Horn Cleaner is a great bargain.
If you always use your sanders, buy this and save some money. I didn't realize how large a 2" by 2" by 12" belt cleaner would be. I cut it in half to make it user friendly. It's worked well on 40 and 80 grit, Mirka 4" by 24" belts. If it doesn't perform well on my Norton 120 grit belts, I'll update my review. I don't make a living using my P-C belt sander and this belt cleaner will last me 2?, 3? years or more. Couldn't be happier. For those of you who are new to sanders: These cleaners are made to remove, what amounts to, wood fibers that will usually accumulate on/in the grit. I safely clamp my sander to a bench, remove and turn the belt in the opposite direction and use the cleaner. Then flip the belt and clean again. If I didn't gum up the belt, it's like new. To clean gum, varnish, shellac, etc. you need to use a screw, a vise grip and don't follow the safety instructions. But with some time and a couple screws, that is attainable, too.

The incredible shrinking belt cleaner
It doesn't measure the full 2" X 2" X 12". Rather, it's 1 ΒΎ" X 1 ΒΎ" X 12". Not quite as solid or firm as the older 2" X 2" version. Hey, let's do the "Truth in Advertising" thing, OK?

no issues
I have worked in some sort of metal/mechanic shop in one form or another for 14yrs and had never seen one of these so when I ordered belts for my home sander I ordered one of these too. Wow they really work. just hold against the belt and in a flash it cleans out 80-90% of what ever seems to be loading out your sanding belts and discs. Very cool item and well worth the money, I have a feeling that it will soon pay for it's self in sanding belts, so far I've easily doubled the life of the old belt I'm using now.

Big Horn Cleaner
Works very well for the price. Takes the abuse of cleaning all my sanding belts & drums. I would recommend this cleaner. Good addition to my wood shop.

Works well
When I received this item I was a bit surprised by the giant size. It couldn't be easier to use, just hold it against the belt or disc with light pressure for a second or two until all the loaded material comes off. It is literally a giant eraser, the loaded particles stick to this rubber material and are lifted off. Definitely prolongs the life of your belts and discs, and allows a better quality finish. The price couldn't be beat, and frankly this was a terrific buy!

Works well, but is overpriced for an oversized eraser.
Item works well, but was only given 3 stars due to excessive price.

Abrasive sander cleaner
This product works well on my drum sander. I open the lid and then start the drum sander and lightly drag it across the abrasive on the drum. Cleans it very well. It also works well on my spindle sander and disc sander as well. Though I use it on the downward side of the disc sander holding it an inch or so above the table so it doesn't snag between the disc and the table. It is cheaper than some of the name brands but works well.

This thing is awesome!
To be honest, I've never used abrasive cleaners before, but since using this one I've been pleasantly pleased with the results. Removes leftover oils from my fine-grit (300 - 600) sanding discs with just a little bit of elbow grease.
