This headset replaced my X-Talk One headset, and I'm very happy with it.Pros:-Good quality (and thick) ear muff padding and top-of-head padding. You'll be comfortable with this one.-Durable headset materials, as well as the connection cable.-Good audio quality. High-end and mid-rage frequencies are reproduced very nicely. Good separation of in-game sounds vs party chat audio sounds.-Good price point (I paid $46.77).Cons:-While bass frequencies are definitely present, it can use a bit more bottom-end in the mix.-The mini-jack needs to be redesigned to an L-shape. If you rest the game pad on your body while playing, the pressure that is put on the connector wire at the base of the mini-jack can cause you to lose audio for a few seconds until the pressure on the jack is released. Note that most headset manufacturers use the same mini-jack design (straight plug as opposed to L-shape), which is a poor design in my opinion.4.5 of 5 stars is my rating.

The headphones are very well made for the most part. A few spots that will give users problems over time will be the mic and the cord running from the headset to the controller. The mic is somewhat fragile so you have to be careful when using it or putting the headphones off or on. The right angle plug into the controller is a great improvement over most other headphones. You don't often see that feature on more expensive sets. The cord in an of itself is okay, but I believe a little more durable cord would be better in the long run. The little volume button could be a little better made. It works fine but does cause a bit of static when bumped or when you are adjusting the volume. To improve these areas would probably increase the price somewhat, but worth the increase if the product lasts. Not complaining. I really like my headphones. I have used many headphones over the years and as far as I'm concerned yours outperformed many other higher priced sets. As far as I'm concerned, you've got Turtle Beach and a few others beat hands down.

(UPDATED)Seller did the right thing and sent me a new one. First one must’ve been defective. I will say, these do work now, and sound is decent, and they’re comfortable, but lacks in bass. I’ve owned other headsets, and they had better bass and sound. Granted, they were also $100 or more. I guess for the money, it’s not the worst headset you could buy.It was very comfort but DID NOT work with XBOX! I plugged it in and was very excited to try it based on the reviews. The sound didn’t come in, and then it did, but only for a few minutes. The mic didn’t work and the sound wasn’t good. The only positive feedback I can give is...it was comfortable.

My 15yo son uses these for hours at a time for gaming & he says they are the most comfortable headset I have ever gotten him(& I've bought a lot over the years😂). The sound quality is crystal clear & it sounds like the people you are talking with are in the same room. The mic picks up perfectly without needing it all up in your mouth. The bad thing (but also good for some) is that they are very noise cancelling, so much so that I have to literally scream for my son to hear me from 15 ft away 😅

They worked well enough for the time I had them, they did the job and that's about all I expected. After the 12 month mark however the plastic brace snapped and while it was still wearable due to the metal "spine" within the band, it began showing its build quality (or lack thereof) quickly. And I take care of my stuff religiously.The sound quality itself was fine, the ergonomics were fine, the mic was fine. But that's about the best this product achieved. "Barely good enough" on all accounts. The largest and most apparent design flaw in these is the TOTAL inability to remove the padding from the cups to wash. They are hard-stitched to the plastic and are not going anywhere, don't even try. And for anyone who understands fabric and skin oils + hours/days of use, you'll begin to see why this is a problem. They'll get so laden in the stuff that it's better to just throw them out than it is to try and clean them.Get them if you're desperate or at a DEEP discount and understand they have an expiration timer the moment you wear them.

I've been through a lot of headsets. Logitech G430 (had it for a bout 1 years; started having problems with it 3 months in), Sennheiser gaming headsets (had it for 10 months in; started having problems with it 4 months in) I have to choose other headset, As a consumer, I always do my research before making a purchase. I was choose it due to all the five reviews being about 85% of the overall reviews. I've been using this headset for a bit over two month now, Mic is very clear and extremely comfortable!!! No issues so far!! However i have to say the sound quality is awesome. The digital surround sound works pretty well. When i watch movies i really enjoy it and when gaming you certainly feel more immersed

I bought these like 5 months ago and they worked fine till literally I kid you not, the day after it was past the return window. They stopped working in the right ear speaker and now only plays in the left ear like a normal headset. I don’t know if I just bought a bad headset or if they are known for going out like that. I would recommend spending a little extra for a good quality. After this happen I went ahead and bought some turtle beach 600 stealth Gen 2 and They are amazing $107 after tax on Amazon.

The media could not be loaded.  The cushioning is absolutely amazing to start with. The sound is nice, just without any bass tones. The microphone is nice and clear, so the people you're gaming with can hear you very well. The cords are much better than i could ask for, especially because they aren't just plastic, they're encased in a durable material. The overall materials are very nice too, and seem like they'll help the headset last for a long time.I do have to say that I also love that I can use it for multiple systems. we used it on our switch, our PS4 and my laptop,so far.From quality parts,to excellent audio, this headset is the whole package!
