Newman's Own Organics Newman's French Roast, Ground Coffee, Fair Trade Certified, Dark Roast, Bagged 10oz

I really enjoy the taste of coffee but not so much the buzz it gives my nervous system so i'm grateful for organic decaf! I frequent coffee shops for work and have a free coffee perk but It's always so terribly disappointing with how sour it all taste. I started to wonder if my taste buds were out of whack since their coffee hasn't caused enough disapproval to make any changes. After discovering Newman's, It's now a relief to take my own brew to the shop. This coffee is bold, nutty, roasty, it's smell is intoxicating- the most ideal coffee in my opinion. I use to get Krispy Creme's all the time but now comparing this brand, I notice there's a slight burn that lingers in the Krispy Creme's decaf. I hear the de-caffeination process is unhealthy, on top of the pesticides they likely spray-probably what the burn sensation is. My only complaint is now I can't buy it off here because they stopped offering prime delivery and 18 is too much for a little bag of coffee. I'm definitely on a local search to restock!

This coffee is perfect. It's not too light and it's not too strong, just a perfect balance with an amazing coffee taste.

The value is good. I love the aroma and freshness. I like organic content products. The quality of the coffee is very good.

This is my favorite coffee. I love that it always comes in a timely manner. I drink it everyday and it is a perfect way to start the day!

I have tried so many different brands and roasts of coffee over the years. For many years, I only drank organic medium roast Colombian coffee. Before that, I really liked espresso and other darker roasts. I wrongly assumed that the darker the roast, the more caffeine it had in it. After studying the different roasts of coffee, I realized that it was the lighter roasted coffee that had the most caffeine, so I switched over to light roasted coffee.I have tried many different brands of light roast coffee and really tried to enjoy drinking it. The problem that I have found with it is that it is very inconsistent, even in the same brand. Every few bags would have a bag that was very sour tasting and smelling. It is because of the acid content in it. It needs to be roasted enough to remove most of the acid or it will have a sour taste and smell. After too many bags like that, I started searching again for the perfect cup of coffee!!I have always loved Newman's Own Organics products and philosophy, so I searched through their coffee choices. I decided to try their breakfast blend. I am so glad that I did! It is the perfect combination of medium and light roast coffees. The taste is smooth and delicious and the aroma is wonderful. I only wish that they would sell a larger sized bag of it. It only has 10 oz. in the bag.

Get it and do not bother buying the expensive ones —this is delicious and organic!

I got the French Roast, it was on sale when I got it. It has a sour taste, almost like it may be old or something. I seem to be just fine after drinking it for several days so I don't think it's bad, just doesn't taste great. As Will Ferrell would say in Anchor Man, I'll eat the cat poop.

Why is Amazon showing and selling the ''Old Bag Packaging'' ? ~ This company changed the package to a ''Silver'' one awhile ago , I have ordered 3 of them....Not sure about this ~ seems odd and I sure don't want to order them with expired dates AND old packaging...What's going on Amazon ?? PS, the Breakfast Blend is beautiful and smooth, hoping to see the newest bags featured! UPDATE ~ received new silver bag with good expiration date June 11. Great coffee!! ~ Not sure what's going on, hoping to order much more and will only accept ''new bags and great expiration dates, hopefully! !
