Bloom: A Girl's Guide to Growing Up Gorgeous Paperback – August 5, 2014

Bought as a gift but flipped through before gifting. Looks like a great book. Lots of great teen/beginner makeup advice and techniques as well as good pictures and lots of styles for all occassions and personalities, which was just what I was hoping it would have. Great purchase!

I wrote this book in 2014 and reordered it for my friend's kids (as I was out of my own copies LOL). They loved it and every girl of every skin tone, facial feature and background should read this book to help them learn the tools to always feel beautiful and special!

In this era of 'BULLYING' there are very few credible books geared to the teenage and preteen age group that explain the problem. Carmindy has used makeup and self-improvement suggestions (something all girls can relate to) to guide young women with sound, sensible solutions. The makeup guides alone help the girls to enhance what is all ready there, rather than going to some gaudy extreme that would generate bullying. She also suggests polite ways to deal with unfavorable comments from others.BRAVO CARMINDY!

Bought this for my young teen niece. I loved that it showed how to wear makeup for different occasions. Also I loved that it showed how to wear makeup if you wear glasses!!!

As a parent, I love this book. My 13 year old daughter and I read it together and had some wonderful conversations. Carmindy is so encouraging! My daughter references it often and since I'm not a fan of heavy makeup and thick black eyeliner, I'm thankful she can hear another person's educated opinion on it.

Adorable book for preteens just getting into make up

Purchased this book for my granddaughter who just turned 13.She lives several hours from me.She called me on the phone to say " GRANNIE " I love this book, thank you so much.I think that speaks volumes.

Cute book. Love that it shows age appropriate natural make up. My nieces will love it.
