Used this for arduous military training and Nav. Survived submersion in salt water and sand, as well as heavy downpours and heavy use. Still going strong.

I love the lightness of this case. I scan my maps onto A4 and keep my original in my backpack as a “just in case”. This map case takes A4 pages and neatly rolls up to be stowed in a trouser pocket rather than hang round my neck and be annoying. It has a lanyard which I fix to my belt or pack with a small carabiner.

Great product. Brought this for me and the girlfriend. Been lookingnfor a new case for a while and this has fit the bill perfectly. I was a little unsure it would fit an a4 page but, as the pic shows it works great and you can see all you need to. Really pleased with it.

Context: I took this product on the Camino de Santiago for 2 weeks.Ridiculously, me and my friend spent ages deciding over a map case...we may have made the wrong decision.It lasted fairly well but in the second week (about 10 days in) the Velcro peeled away from its glue seal.In its defence it was battered and bruised for 10 days straight (I'm not a delicate or organised hiker).I would say its cheap and cheerful and good for the day/ weekend hikes.

Though you can get cheaper ones, these map cases are very good quality and I can recommend them. Compared to some, the plastic material is very clear without any kind of tint. It's very flexible but is strong and the closure is very good. Haven't been out in really cold weather yet but the manufacturer claims that cold performance is one of their good points.

The Velcro fastening is superb. I use the map case on my Sea Kayak and needed a case that was actually waterproof. This one is bombproof.

I purchased the map case specifically for a walking holiday in the Wicklow Mountains. I found it to be totally waterproof, easy to use and unobtrusive whilst walking. It is big enough to allow a map to be open to cover a decent walk without having to reopen the case. The multiple turn top and the velcro closure ensured no water got in. Good value for money.

This item arrived very quickly. The quality of the map case is excellent, especially with the roll-down top to make a waterproof seal. The clarity of the clear double sided case is a great asset.
