Not a audiophile, but these are comfortable (I wear glasses)
I'm starting to get into more higher quality products. I had a set of Audio Technica ATH-M20X, which are budget. But they were not comfortable during long usage at work. I wanted to try a set of velour pads to see if it helped. Didn't want to invest too much, and found these for around $9. Easy to install. They are great for the price. I'm happy with these as a replacement. Keep in mind, I'm not an audio pro.

Loosely attaches to headphones and significantly changes sound
Pretty terrible. Once attached they kind of sag and feel really loose, which also significantly changes the color of the sound, absolutely removing a lot of bass response. These will mess up your mixes, don’t buy

They're pretty okay.
They don't fit as tightly on the earphones as the factory ones. They don't cancel noise as well as the factory ones either. They don't cause as much sweat though, so that's good.

Loose fit for MDR-V6, Changes Audio
As a budget option, these are ok. Not too bad to install, comfort is where I would like it to be, with the soft foam and the soft outer padding. The issue lies in the fit of the cushions on the headphones. As a few others have mentioned, these will have a loose fit, and I can confirm the loose fit on the MDR-V6's. As a result, the audio will change pretty significantly (most notably less bass). There's just not as tight a fit as another set I bought, which leaves a gap of air, which unfortunately also allows sound to permeate. These are great if you need something cheap to get rid of the cracking plastic that gets all over your ears or if you need to not sweat so much for those extended sessions/trips. These may even be ideal if your set of headphones have a better fit. However, if you have a pair of MDR-V6's, might want to look elsewhere for replacement cushions.

Changes sound signature significantly - for good or bad
I got the foam ones and they changed the sound signature so bad I had to re attack the worn out original pads. Some songs were unlistenable. Plether version might be better as I've seen even more expensive velor/foam type ear pads getting bad reviews. But I gave it another go and noticed that some songs actually sound better with bits and pieces I didn't hear before now are loud and clear. So it is not all bad as I thought earlier.
