I did not have a problem with my sprayer clogging. I read the reviews and purchased this product, which allowed me to mix it myself. At each step, measuring, mixing, loading the sprayer, I poured it through a strainer. I used a cheapie one I bought at the grocery store. 4 stars for now. I'll report back when I see how well it works. I've used the pellets in the past, so I have high hopes.

I have an older backpack sprayer (Solo 9400) with screen filters which immediately clogged when I added the product. The manufacturer of the Turf Maize was very responsive but had no solutions. The people at Solo (which no longer uses filters in their sprayers) talked be through the filter removal process. But, keep in mind this required a heat gun, a 2X4 and a sledge hammer to get access to the filter.I am assuming the corn gluten will work as well as the pelletized version I used before. All I have to do now is figure how fast to walk to apply the correct amount.

What a mess

The product clogged the sprayer almost immediately. I solved this problem by double-straining the liquid before putting it in the sprayer, but this made the process tedious. Spraying my lawn took forever, and I finally gave up. I won't try this again. Even if spraying was not a problem, it would take a lot of luck to actually kill the weeds. You have a short window when the soil temperature is just right, and you need the weather to cooperate. Unless everything goes perfectly, all you are doing is feeding the weeds. And even if everything goes perfectly, the kill rate is not that impressive. In short, this wonder product is an illusion.

Works great

Mixed solution per directions. Used 12 gal tow behind sprayer. Sprayer stopped working after running only a few feet. I initially thought my old sprayer crapped out, so I bought a new sprayer. Same thing happened in the new sprayer! On inspection, I discovered the strainer was clogged with fine particles from the solution. I strained the solution through a fine mesh strainer & tried again - still didn't work. I tested both sprayers with water. The sprayers are fine - this spray solution isn't suitable for sprayers. Expensive lesson! Out $52 for the solution & 300 needlessly spent on a new sprayer. Returning the other 2 containers for a refund.

I bought this as an alternative to weed killer to kill clover in my plants but it killed the plants, too.

I bought this product to spray on my front and back lawn. I purchased a spray canester specifically for this product, and followed the directions to the letter. It has been months since The application and the weed situation in lawn has not changed at all. My grass does not seem any better of worse either. I am very disappointed, as it yielded no results at all.

Never worked. Very messy.
