Exactly what I need them to be.
I needed to rethink my organizational system for my new toolbox. I wanted the ability to pull an entire set of sockets out of the main box and throw them into a service cart to wheel over to the job. This is the 21st century, so crappy old metal rails with spring clips weren't an option. The Hansen style trays are great if you're going to leave them mostly stationary, but they're a little flimsy to stand up to regular movement in and out of a box. Ernst twist-lock rails are pretty good, but the size markings are sorta small and can be hidden. Westling are pretty slick looking, but they really seem to be for users of the type who buy Snap On because they care more about having expensive tools than getting a bargain. For my specific needs and wants, these trays are absolutely perfect. The magnet, which both holds the tray to metal and holds the sockets in the tray, is very strong. (In fact it's so strong that I need to double up the drawer liner in my box in order to make them a little easier to remove.) It's easily strong enough to hold the tray on the side of a box and keep the sockets from falling out It'll even hold completely upside down as long as you aren't too violent with the shaking. The plastic feels like its probably a solid chunk, so it's going to be very durable. The markings are all clear and readable. They hold what is generally considered a full run of sizes, with both the 1/4" & 3/8" versions having room for standard and deep well. The 1/2" tray only holds one run, which is a bit of a downside to me. I understand that they do it to keep the size of the tray down, but I'd like to see them offer a 1/2" tray with holes for a full complement of regular & deep for those of us who have the room.I have read that there are some brands of sockets which won't fit into the holes, but my Craftsman & Pittsburgh sockets all fit fine. Just a little bit of play so they're easy to insert, but no so much as to make them rattely.Highly recommended.

Great socket racks with some big downfalls especially 1/2”
I bought these to replace my plastic Hansen trays. These holders are really good quality and fit craftsman sockets perfect and will fit impact sockets as well. These will not fit blue point sockets as well as a few others. I really wish they made them a little less wide the 3/8” tray comes in at 3.5” wide and and the 1/4” tray comes in at 3” wide so if you are using a US General 30” rolling cart you can only fit 3/8” set 1/4” set and 1 of the 1/2” set which brings me to my biggest complaint is the 1/2 set only holds deeps or shallows but the 3/8” and 1/8” holds both deep and shallows. The 1/2” holders start at 10mm and go to the first down then back up to 27mm instead of having 10mm to 20mm deeps and shallows. That’s a big miss in my book as I barley use any 1/2” over 20mm and I can just keep them separate, so this cause you to buy 2 sets for your 1/2” one for shallow one for deep metric and sae so you’ll need 4 of them in total good luck fitting those in your roll cart. This product had a chance to be a WINNER and they seem like they’ll last forever but because they messed up the 1/2” I took stars off. My other complaint is the 1/4” set stops at 14mm and my set goes to 15mm I mean who designed the layout? They wasted a lot of realestate as well these could of been 2.75” wide maybe smaller. My last issue is don’t try to put mid length sockets you’ll have trouble getting them out. I hope this helps you guys with Deciding to buy or not.

Good for the money.
I ordered 1 metric and 1 standard for my shallow 1/2 6point sockets after looking for the right socket organizer. I’m happy with these. The socket size is bright and readable. My sockets fit perfectly, not too snug. I liked them so much I bought a second sae one for my deep well sockets. The height on those is perfect for my box too. The magnet feels secure and holds the socket in without having to fight it to get it out.

Nicely designed organizer, pricey for a lot of sockets
The magnet that holds the sockets in place is strong enough that sockets don't fall out if it's turned upside down, but not so strong that it's hard to get the sockets out. If you have a large tool set, using these will get pricey when you get enough of them to hold all your sockets: you need one each for 3/8 drive SAE and Metric, 1/2 drive SAE and metric, 1/4 drive SAE and metric for a total of eight at $23.49 a piece - about $188 plus tax -OUCH!

Highly recommended!!
These are great! I have 1/2”, 3/8” and 1/4” drive SAE and Metric. I don’t mind the magnets as I’m a home do it yourselfer. The holders stay in place in the drawer and the sockets stay in place too. They’re well made, sockets are not hard to get out and they are clearly labeled. Only problem is my 1/4” drive, 5/8” Bluepoint socket doesn’t fit in the hole. But I only bought it to fill up the holder. Definitely would recommend and am a big fan of the Olsa Tools line of products.

these are good
been using the Lisle socket tray for about 15 years, they have been falling apart for a couple years now. one of their main faults is that every time you bump them sockets fall outthese magnetic trays are of a very high quality made out of that somewhat waxy plastic that lasts for years and years.my first thought was the magnetic grip wouldn't be strong enough, actually it seems just about right. time will telli don't have a lift, i work under cars on jack stands, these are nice. keep the sockets all together in order, even when bumped pretty hard or dropped from low levelsbeen looking for a couple years, northern tool, napa, sears, box stores and online. took about a month to order these after i first noticed them.i think they are great. today i am ordering a set for 1/2 inch drive. they are worth having

Solid kit
A quality thing (which arrived quickly considering it was from USA), but not cheap.

Pricey but worthwhile
After using the usual clip rails for years (cheap, but impossible to grab a socket with oily hands) and trying the organizers with posts, these have finally hit the target. While I might wish the magnets were slightly stronger, they hold the sockets securely enough that they can be placed (cautiously) sideways on a fender to keep them handy without losing even a deep socket. The sockets can be grabbed and returned easily even with greasy paws. The size markings are large enough to read without cheater glasses (important when you reach that certain age) and they simplify putting everything back and figuring out what's missing - even the ever-elusive 10mm socket! One thing to be aware of if you buy a set: the 1/4" and 3/8" organizers have two sets of spots to hold both standard and deep sockets. However, the 1/2" organizers have one set of spots, because the sockets are so much larger. For a complete working set of sockets, you will need additional 1/2" organizers for your deep sockets.

Good tray. Fits my impact sockets. YMMV
Fits my Mac tools Expert line 3/8 metric impact sockets where as the long peg style don't leave enough space in between the 7,8,9,10mm for these particular sockets. Also I put a Snap On 21mm deep impact in the 20mm hole because 20mm is pretty uncommon and it fit fine. Overall good but I'd say a little pricey for one tray

Excellent! My sockets are now properly sorted and organized
This product just does what it is supposed to do and that makes me happy. I had a huge mess of sockets from a lifetime of working on cars and motorcycles, plus some that I inherited from my dad. All of the sockets sat in a pile in my mechanics tool chest and only once I sorted them into four different organizers, did I realize that I had quite a few sockets that were a second, third or fourth copy of a certain size. I have donated the extras to a local charity and am keeping the best copy of each size. I am now going to purchase the sizes that I don't have in case I need to use one in the future. These organizers are sturdy, heavy and hold onto my tool chest despite sitting on a thin piece of foam (protects the metal finish of the tool chest). They are a little pricey, but they do exactly what I was hoping for. Very happy.

4mm to 14mm
Excellent build quality and the magnets are strongI don’t like how it’s 4mm to 14mm I would prefer 5mm to 15mm
