This table is built like a tank. It is my second Marco table, and they are a couple of rocks — both in terms of solidity and weight. However, this one had a couple of glitches. The legs were hard to attach to the top; it took a bit of banging to make them line up properly. And the lower part of the legs are prethreaded for the screws that hold them in place. But one of the legs was not. The packing was ruined (more on that later), so returning it was not an option. I had to buy tools to tap the threads myself, to the tune of $30. Also, one of the edges absorbed a blow hard enough to knock out a chip the size of a thumbnail. Fortunately the chip was still in the box, so I was able to glue it back into place. I know UPS handled it very roughly (I have video); there was the chip, and a hole in the top of the box the size of my hand — including fingers. That isn’t Marco’s fault of course, but perhaps the packaging could have been more substantial. I’ve demoted my rating to 3, because the prethreading problem was, I thought, a pretty major oversight. But make no mistake; I’d buy another Marco product if I needed one.

Sturdy table, exactly what I was looking for. The table comes in two boxes; one with the top that has some brackets on the bottom pre-installed, and a second with the legs and hardware. Installation was easy given that brackets exist for the top of the leg to fit into, and a predrilled hole exists for installing the single screw per leg needed to keep things in place. I used a hand-held screw driver (large) but be prepared with gloves and a little muscle to get the screw in tight. An electric driver would be better. The quality is first rate on this and I see it functioning as needed for many years.

Very well made table, and easy to assemble. The packaging looked a little rough when it arrived. but it did its job. table was undamaged. Hint on assembly: The legs are an interference fit in the preassembled brackets. Use a hammer to lightly tap them into place so the pre drilled screw holes line up.

Package had some damage and one side had small chip. Nothing major and easy fix. It does wobble at full height but not enough that I would not trust it. Using as computer desk. Much better option than IKEA junk.

I just received this product, The table came with a leg for a drastically smaller table, and one internal threading was damaged.Update: I contacted the manufacturer and Amazon, they were very willing to help resolve this issue I encountered. The table itself is very sturdy, and other than the wrong and damaged parts it came with I am very happy with my purchase.

Received today. Put it together today. Very study. Very pretty. I picked the green. I have another 5 foot table coming in another two days. With the 5 and 3 foot tables I will have a study, pretty desk for my 9 year old. She will have enough space to work and play at her desk.

Very sturdy and well made. The screws, however, do not bolt into the legs very easily. It's very hard to thread properly and very easy to strip the screws. I will have to replace one of the screws and it's brand new. (minus one star)

Arrived much quicker than expected. Shipping estimate showed roughly 2 weeks, and this arrived in 4 business days. Nice! Very sturdy, solid table that feels and looks like it will stand the test of time, and little kids.
