Not dark brown
If you're looking for espresso or dark brown, I would advise against this color. adding black to it does not darken the color, it only makes it a gross, gray/brown. I ended up just using black solely and the piece looks great. Also, if using this for the first time, I suggest using just one very thin coat If you're looking for the distressed look! Have fun!

Great product
I painted cabinets at a cabin, followed with clear wax then dark wax. Turned out great.
