Would this work with soft .4 mm jewellery wire

No, I've crocheted with jewellery wire on 0.5mm hooks and know how fiddly that is, the addi I cord would not be suitable for jewellery wire, it only works with yarn and even then it's very temperamental. There are tutorials for I cord machines on YouTube, this would show you how fiddly they are, the yarn slips off the hooks easily and tangles if you're not careful but once you get the hang of it and you have the correct yarn they work well and are fun. Have you considered a Lucet for wire knitting.

Are there replacement pins available ?

I have seen them available on eBay, shipped from a seller in Germany, but I’ve not found a stockist in the U.K.

Do you do replacement parts? i’ve past the return window by a few days. it’s skipping all the time when i’m cranking,i have to use the handle base.
