Great value
I replaced the rode on my 28' sailboat. Looked so nice in the anchor locker that I hated to use it. Anchored for an hour or so in heavy winds yesterday so it isn't quite as clean as it once was but it is a very nice rode. I'm sure I'll drag the anchor long before it ever sees a load capable of breaking it.

Works fine, good rope, Rodes nice...
Bought to replace a 1/2 inch line that was getting long in the tooth. I use it inshore saltwater on 18ft center console. Buy this larger diameter line vs. a 3/8 diam. line if you have anything bigger than a jon boat, makes pullin anchor a lot easier on the mate...I've got a buddy with a 20 ft Mako with a 3/8 line...i always cursed him for that...tough on the mate...plus he tied knots in it to mark depth....that's about as stupid as it gets...knots in an anchor line are not only absurd, but also dangerous in a tidal situation....dont drop the soap, dont smoke no dope, dont piss up a rope, better get a lawyer son, better get a real good one, get yerself a suit and tie, get yer hair cut way up high, that's what the officer told me.....

Given the right conditions, it will break
Used the rope to assist in felling trees. Had a LARGE pine tree lodged and hooked rope to pickup truck --- full throttle ... tree did not move ... rope broke ... tied it back together and still working with It ... GOOD ROPE

Seems to be good quality. Exactly as advertised.
Seems to be good quality. Exactly as advertised.I can't wait to put this on my anchor, I have 3/8 line on it now and it's kinda hard to pull really hard on that line without it hurting your hand.Satisfied so far, will update if it doesn't live up to standards on the water.

worked perfect for the rope puller
The rope pull I have only came with something like a 20ft rope, not near enough length for helping add some tension when cutting down trees. Used this 100ft on a couple trees this weekend and it worked great.

Great tool to have
I purchased this to help pull down trees with my tractor. Nothing super dangerous, but ones that i wanted to make sure fall in a certain direction. I pulled down 14 maples in my front property and dropped every one exactly where i wanted to. Reccommend tying a bowline knot around the tree and then using the hook end to attach to the tractor. Very satisfied.
