My one was old and not visible at all.Also the LED lights didn’t work.I could use and keep the keys (so it wasn’t a problem at all).

The casing was OK but putting my original key parts into it wasnt easy and the buttons are hard to press

I can confirm this doesn't act as a replacement for the RX8 04 keyfob.The battery compartment is too shallow on the new fob to fit the board ontopIn the photo the new is on the left and old is on the right.Avoid at all costs... advertising items incorrectly just to get sales.. no way to run a business.

I spent a lot of time trying to swap over from the damaged original to this replacement casing but the components just didn't fit properly. This isn't a 'like for like' replacement, its very similar but not identical. I couldn't return as i made small alterations to it in an attempt to make things fit. In the end I found a local guy to come and supply a new fob and cut key - more expensive but much better and would have saved a lot of my time!

Not sure if it was my fault for not checking but the battery terminals are totally wrong for my 4 button fob

Yes i was the same the buttons don’t meet the board. new buttons don’t have a raise.X. Under the buttons. And the spring wont go back into place so the key will no longer open when you push the key release don’t waste your time or money on this
