I was not expecting an LED bulb to imitate so well a flame!! I could stare at it for hours since it is so realistic. It looks like there is a fire inside the bulb for real and I could not be happier by the look of it into my front yard's lights. Shipping was super fast, received within 2 days and setup straight forward. There is 2 settings: still like a normal light bulb and flame alike, you have to read the included manual to know how to switch between these modes. The good thing is that the bulb keeps the last setting. Let's see how long they will last!!

They do not put out much light but you would not expect a candle to put out much light. Flicker effect is good enough. I bought 2 to try then bought 2 more because they were good enough. I don't like the fact that turning them off and on again changes the mode of operation (one time on solid, next time flicker) and would prefer that they flicker all the time.

Lots of homes in my neighborhood have real gas lamps--that makes it tough to immitate. Real gas lamps are more of a light yellow with a hint of orange. These lightbulbs glow very orange. My whole glass fixture glows orange. My outdoor lamps require 3 bulbs. I settled on just one bulb to try and tone it down. They do flicker nice, like a real frame would do. It does look like fire. If you live in a neighborhood where nobody has a real gas lamp, maybe nobody would notice how different they are from the real thing. I guess I'll use them for the holiday season then put regular bulbs in. Maybe that is what these will become--a holiday decoration.

I'm using these in blow foam JOLs. They work great.

The flickering artificial gas bulbs look quite realistic. Excellent addition to holiday decorations and we use them as permanent replacements to our standard garage lamp bulbs.

No need to install other switches. There are two modes directly. The first turn on is the lighting mode, the second time is the flame mode.

So far they are beautiful. Will see how long they last. Makes my Frnt yard light look like a flaming candle stick.

The bulbs are great. I use them in the dining room and it gives such a warm and intetesting glow
