Hamilton Beach HBF500S Expeditor 64 Ounce 1 HP Culinary Blender

I ordered this HBF500s and found it to not serve my purpose. It would not make margarita, smoothies, nor chop well. I tried wet, dry and several in between. It has a wide and flat bottom jar and a comparatively small, simple blade. It whirls product inside the jar without actually macerating much of the item. Very strange. It seems well made in most respects- but due to the operational weakness I found, I would neither keep nor recommend this blender.
