Great purchase. 10 lb flywheel makes big difference. Magnetic resistance. Silent belt drive.
I am really glad I bought this model rower. I was looking at water rowers, but have a super small space, and wanted a silent rower. I was also balking at the prices of good water rowers and how loud they can be. I read reviews of many models, and listened to videos of the sound/loudness of each type. This fits my needs, with excellent resistance levels. The flywheel adds the feeling of more resistance for a harder pull, and a smooth stroke. I had an air rower chain drive previously. I never got over how loud it was. This is silent, but feels very similar. I hear the seat move and that's it. The belt drive is good quality, and quiet. The seat is very comfortable. The magnetic resistance is excellent. I feel strong resistance at level 3 and there are 8 total. I have plenty of room to grow. I find this really stretches my back out in the morning, is helping my posture, and i feel 'the burn' of the workout. It was packed very well, (probably important so the heavy flywheel stays aligned), was very easy to assemble, and is foldable if needed. The monitor seems to work, but i don't really look at it. I'd much rather the money is put into a quality machine and I can use my own HR chest strap and watch to track my workouts which is what I do. I love the magnetic resistance and flywheel. I rate this much better than a rower without the flywheel, and i prefer over an air rower for the quiet. I will keep this for a long time. Again, well built, and the 10 pound flywheel is totally worth the extra money for it.Update: I've had this for a few months now and it still works great. It would be nice if it had wheels or something to make it easier to move since I changed locations with it, but other than that I am still really pleased with this purchase and feel like this is a quality item.

Good product for the price
Packaged well, especially the small parts. Easy to assemble by one person. I did use my own sockets and screwdriver instead of the spanners provided.Much quieter than a Concept two because of the flywheel and belt.Biggest complaint is the computer. It is hard to see since it is under the belt when in use. Distance is in miles not meters and doesn't show splits. It also doesn't seem to be accurate, but I can't prove it.Tension dial doesn't seem to make much difference.

Kick ass budget rower
I really like this rower machine. It ame packaged 53lbs withn 3 days of ordering. Set up was acinch. Took me 20 min. Instructions are very clear. Remember this a budget rower so ypur not getting Nordic trac or Peleton quality. That being said its solid and doea the basics very well. I weigh 260 amd it didnt shimmy shake rattle or make hardly any noise. Its very smooth and quiet. It folds up somewhat. It takes the removal of a lynch pin and know screw. Takes a minute to get it folded. The Lcd is a basic information tool. Very budget electronics. Not cusomizeable. However if you use a fitbit or smartwatch it isnt an issue. Tje seat and handle were reasonable comfortable. Foot rests were adequate. Again budget machine so its gonna lack some of the refinements of more expensive machines BUT gives you a decent workout. Definitely worth the investment. I bought tbianto try out rowing. So far im loving it. If it doesnt meet my needs as my workouts get better I'll by a more expensive machine.Dollar for dollar this is the best of the budget machines.

It's fine. Not amazing. Not horrible.
This is my first rower; it seems to work well enough. I'm glad I got the model with the flywheel, because the magnetic resistance is negligible. Even at the highest setting, it feels like almost nothing. The difference between 1 and 16 resistance settings is approximately .00000001%; they may as well have just had 2 settings: easy, and easier. Even with the highest magnetic setting selected, you have to work super hard and fast to get what I would call a significant workout. The flywheel does get harder to pull the faster you go, but it's still nothing like rowing on an actual boat. This thing just needs more resistance! After 1 week of use, it creaks a little bit whenever the seat rolls past the main pivot joint where you fold it up for storage. There's a support leg here that is suspended in the air during exercise mode, and I'm not sure why they didn't just extend it so that it can touch the floor and prevent the stress/creaking on this crucial area. Hopefully it holds up and doesn't break. I might place something sturdy underneath it to help. The LCD display has somewhat helpful features, but it's not backlit and the screen is incredibly dim and not sharp, even with fresh batteries installed. You need a flashlight in order to see the numbers on the screen, even in a fairly well-lit room!It is fairly quiet (minus the recent creaking sound I mentioned), and has smooth operation. Overall decent quality, I just wish it had more resistance, comparable to maybe a Bowflex or something like that."Sheerness" is a weird category for rating a piece of exercise equipment, so I did not submit any stars for that, but it was easy to put together, and fairly sturdy.

Value for the money
Works decent if you're looking for an effective home work out. I used to row competitively and if you want something that'll give you an accurate reading of your run...the computer on here is nowhere close. The computer is very basic but will get you by.I wanted magnetic resistance because of how quiet it is- Definitely lives up to that. It also provides a good range of resistance. It fits me well even at a 6ft tall. Flywheel runs smooth. The seat rollers are ok...but definitely on the cheap side.Again the computer and controls are extremely basic and even at times don't read input like for "stroke count" or "rpm" intermittently. This is particularly noticeable if you're running a low ratio with strong pulls at a high resistance.Easy construction and all tools included. For the price I'm definitely satisfied.Don't use this around kids... there's stickers everywhere indicating this. Use common sense, there's an exposed spinning flywheel.
