pH Balanced Life pH Test Strips with Extra 3 Strip - 100 Count

I rarely do full reviews online, but it's also very rare I have such a good experience with both the seller(great customer service), and product. To share my story through the years until now would be too personal and long for amazon. But to just summarize, I(and my family/friends)'for the most part' have been failed by the system(s) for so long; and for most of my many issues, I've had to empower myself best I could to help my health(what that actually means vs. manipulation), and to potentially save my life. I've known about pH strips for quite some time; and truly believe in things like this(alternative) to help/heal or possibly even cure, with personally seeing and hearing about it. I just figured they would be too expensive for us, or might not be accurate esp. if bought online. When I eventually went searching, and after comparing prices, many brands, sellers, products etc., I decided to go with pH balanced life. And I'm glad I did! It took me a bit to figure out how to hold the strip correctly(with urine), but once I did(with instructions), it's been fairly accurate for me. This is even seeing the scores I log in on the sheets I was given. I also know this to be true because when I'm too acidic or even too alkaline(not balanced), my health issues tend to be worse; and then I work on correcting it best I can in various ways I've read on or asked(including recipes). I haven't tried saliva though with tending to have a dry mouth even hydrated. I'm so glad I pursued this. I plan on using this again and again.

I placed my order on a Friday, and received on Sunday by USPS with Amazon Prime. I guess I missed out on the special promo for free samples with an "unbiased" review. My review is based on limited usage and reflects a totally different application of pH strips from all the other somewhat generic reviews posted by others.I take a medication for urinary infections that requires me to keep my urine pH as close to 5.5 as possible for the medication to be most effective. In reality, urine pH can very between 4.6 to 8.0, and can generally average between 6.0 and 7.0 pH for most healthy adults on a Western diet. I hope the three square indicators on the strips my be a little more accurate then the two square indicator strips. Love the round capped bottle verses the flat containers, and the extra 20 strips (100). I find holding the strip in my right hand easier, and inverting the bottle to compare to the colored reference patches. This product was exactly as described. It shipped and delivered overnight with Amazon Prime. I am pleased with the accurate results I received as they matched (both the Urine and Saliva) the results from my doctor's office. I am now using the tracking sheets provided, which are easy to use, and the dietary suggestions to bring my body up to the recommended alkaline level of 7.0. I have not tried the recipes, so I cannot give a review on that yet. The one thing that convinced me to give this product 5 stars is that I received a personal email from one of the co-founders asking if I received the tracking sheets and recipes (they are sent to you via email once you make your purchase) and if I had any questions about the product. She included extra tips based on other user's questions, which answered mine. I am very pleased with this product and will definitely purchase again when I run out.

I've been using these test strips for about a week. They are very easy to use and to read - you just have to compare with the color chart on the side of the container - so I don't have to worry about keeping a separate color chart, which I would probably lose easily. The company also sent by email an attachment with a chart to follow at the beginning to establish a daily average as one's levels can fluctuate. I haven't actually bothered to use it but instead have just done the tests at various times and keep a mental tally of my results. The company also sent recipes for healthy cooking and have followed up with a bonus soup recipe.

Since I have never used these strips before I do not know how to compare the colors on the strip with the colors on the bottle. I went to the so called website of pHbalancedlife.com and it was nothing more than a commercial. Yes, the instructions say to compare the colors on the strip with the colors on the bottle, but that means nothing. There are three colors on the strip and three columns of ten rows of three colors (all different) on the bottle. The three colors do not correspond with any set of three colors on the bottle. If I match one of the colors on the strip with one on the bottle, then the other two aren't even close. Am I supposed to average them out? Not enough information to do me any good. There were no detailed instructions in the envelope that they came in. I am sure that once it is explained to me as to how to do it, I will get it. But that is my point, I should not have to wasting my time with writing this revue. If this company cares, they will call me and I will think about changing this review.

I am less concerned about urine PH as a determination of blood PH and the ability to ward off disease. But I do believe you can change blood PH through raising stomach alkalinity.

I've only used the test strips once at this point. I keep forgetting. That one time the strips appeared to work fine. I'm giving this 5 stars as the customer service as been exceptional. I have received an email with forms and additional information. I also received a follow up email checking to be sure I received the first email and if I had any difficulties downloading the information. Great service. I do not expect to have any difficulties using the test strips; I suspect if I would this company would be right there to help solve whatever issue I might have.

Whether they are accurate or not I don't know. BUT they are very consistent from day to day. Easy to use. Don't kill yourself trying to read the 3 color blocks, sometimes only 2 will match.
