Fun and easily replayable
I played this with my 9 and 11 year old children. You can tell a game is a hit when just reading the rules gets them to grin. They both knew the game had some depth to it as we went through the rules. I play a lot of games and what I am particularly interested in is balance, replayability, and the skill to luck ratio. This game is meant for kids, but it has the intrigue of higher level games.I love the trouble hunters run in to if they roll too many mummies. Players are constantly weighing risk and reward when it comes to rolls and pursuing treasure.I am also a fan of the game board set up. It reminds me of Captain Sonar a little. Great game.Cons: I wouldn't let little children play this game by themselves because the magnets are very tiny and would easily be lost by little ones, rendering the game impossible to play. So I wish they would have made the magnets and board either bigger or simply make every magnet a large piece like the mummy is.

Great game but tiny pieces
My family loves this game. My 4 year old is always asking for one of the Brain Game’s penguin games. Ice Cool was great but this game dives under the school to find The Pyramid of the Pengqueen. This game uses magnets to move around the board. You are trying to collect your treasure before the pengqueen catches you. It’s a fun twist on the classic cat and mouse games. The only problem I have with the game is the extremely small pieces you move around the board. The components are designed the way they are because of the gimmick of the game. The pies flip onto the pengqueen when she catches you. It is just annoying with my large fingers. But put all that a side, it is a great game fore the whole family.

Fun, light, family game
Pyramid of Pengqueen is a light, fun, family game of hidden movement. Up to four penguin explorers move their markers around a vertical magnetic board, while one Pengquuen player on the other side of the board, tried to capture the explorers, who are trying to collect her treasures. The game involves a clever magnetic movement mechanism, and the rules are quite easy to learn. If you have played the Scotland Yard board game, this will be familiar to you. The only negative thing for me was the small size of the magnetic penguin markers. Otherwise, a great filler game, that is almost as popular with adult players as with kids.

Fun game, build quality is just okay
The game itsel is really fun. My kids enjoy it every time we play. The only complaint is how small the magnets are. Honestly, they're absurdly small player pieces. Be careful or you'll need a magnifying glass to find them if dripped in the carpet. ;-)

A hit with my kiddos
Suitable for children and children with adults... this game is another packaging marvel from the publisher that brought you Ice Cool and Ice Cool 2. A breeze to set up and tear down, super simple to learn, with rules that are memorable and fun. I recommend 3 or 4 players, and a fair dose of good sportsmanship if available. One pro-tip - as a penguin, learn to move your arms and eyes to throw off the mummy during your turn. Would recommend to basically anybody.

Quality control
Main board came delaminated (bubble/separation) from internal metal sheet making the magnetic pieces lose connectivity. Swapping out the pengqueen magnet with a stronger one.

A game for the family that is very unique
Great game where one side of the board is magnetic treasure hunters and the other side is the mummy. The treasure hunters can see where the mummy is but the mummy can't see where the treasure hunters are. If the mummy catches a treasure hunter, the magnet clicks on top of them and the mummy gets a point. It was very well done and fun!

Great family game
Great family game. Excellent with children. A simple hidden movement game with the Ice Cool theme. Ice Cool much simpler game while this one steps up the complexity and introduces children to modern games. Glad I purchased.

Gra z efektem WOW
Pingwiny mają do dyspozycji 5 białych kości.

Family-friendly suspense and strategy
This is an engaging game for children and adults alike. I'd particularly recommend it for parents who are looking for something that rewards a bit more tactical thinking. The game mechanisms provide a good compromise between those familiar dice-based board games and more advanced strategy-based games. There's enough luck involved to keep things uncertain but not so much as to render forward-thinking redundant. The rules are pretty straightforward but there is a little scope for misunderstanding. Once you've got the rules under your belt there aren't too many reasons to refer back to the instructions. The magnets and vertical board work well, the pieces attach firmly but move easily. They also snap nicely into position nicely when the mummy catches them. These elements really help deliver the gameplay in a satisfying way.The mummy blindly chases the treasure hunters around the board, being given occasional clues by which treasures they collect. The adventurers must collect the required treasures before the mummy captures them a specified number of times (depending on number of players). With two players the game works well. However, once you have three or more players the game gains a bit more strategic depth. As well as the mummy, the treasure hunters are in competition with each other to collect their treasures first. Trying to thwart each other, whilst also denying the mummy victory, makes for a rewarding challenge.Games can be played quite quickly, so everyone can have a turn playing the mummy while it still feels fresh. All in all, this is very fun and satisfying game. The suspense of chasing or being chased is delivered really well. It's mainly one for families, I'd say, but I wouldn't rule it out for a few quick rounds of a board game night either.
