Strong backing pad that is working well.

I like the price and this unit works well on lighter grit disks since they are fairly thin overall but on #36 and #24 that are heavier it is tough to tighten down the disks

This works great BU I had to grind down the back so it would actually fit lower on the grinder!

Product has no threads to mount a tool. It has a loose steel mount plate (literally just a round plate) without threads which is where virtually all backing pad threads would begin. There is no way to use this product unless you cert crafty and have patience and equipment to install your own threaded piece. The plastic is rigid, which is implied, and has ribs and holes for ventilation. I believe this item would be a waste of 99.999999% people’s time.

It’s hard plastic which one would think would be amazing but a small drop it shatters immediately, local stores have rubber flexible forgiving ones , broke in the middle of the job , just wrong material.

My previous one had lost the metal washer on the back and the plastic was caving in. This one is working well. I use a sanding disk to trim horses with a grinder. Holds the sand disk fine.

This was a good product as far as backing up a sanding disk. Much more firm than the rubber ones and seemed to help the disks work better and last a lil longer...however it's not the most durable. It doent have the give of rubber so if you drop your grinder or it falls off the table the disk will break..mine did
