Maple Wood Cutting Board 16 in x 10 ½ in x 3/4 in

Cannot comment on durability as I just received this cutting board and have yet to use it. However, it arrived in good condition and without any cracks. It feels solid and well made.I decided on this board after researching the pros and cons of different cutting board materials; in my research, wood (maple, specifically) was consistently noted for being a durable and sustainable choice, hence my purchase.Board comes pre-oiled, but a small informational insert does indicate that regular oiling/maintenance is a must. The insert also explains methods of cleaning and sanitizing the board, which I found helpful.

I have had this cutting board for a few months. Love hard maple cutting boards. They hold up to the knife beautifully- no gouging. The board has not warped nor have the seams split. The one wish I have is that it be sanded more, but an easy fix with sandpapering the gravy grooves for better future cleaning. Did I mention that it doesn’t stain? Spilled curry powder and turmeric on the board. That usually stains anything - wiped right off with no stains.

This is a solid well made cutting board especially at the price. I can't speak to durability as I ended up choosing a softer wood for my cutting board however this one is more durable and easier to clean than the softer one.

The first board was starting to split when it arrived. I oiled it well but the split continued to grow so I sent it back for a replacement. The next one arrived in a few days and was not splitting but after 2 weeks it started to split. I was out of town for 2 weeks and when I returned the splits were growing and my 4 week warranty period had ended so I am stuck with a pick of fire wood. After 8 weeks there are several splits approximately 4 inches long.Whoopee, I will soon have 2 cutting boards!Do not buy this cutting board because they have a serious manufacturing (glueing) problem!

It's still in the plastic because I haven't used it yet but it looks ok. Looks solid. I will update my review when I try it out, thank you

I was happy with this cutting board up until today when I noticed it's coming apart in three places. I didn't leave it in water, put it in the dishwasher, etc. Just normal use and using mineral oil on it every so often. It was only about $20 but I was hoping it would last at least a year.

I expected it to be bigger. I know dimensions are listed but just thought it was longer.

Great cutting board, consider adding some rubber at the corner so it doesn't slide.
