El PintoMedium Hatch Red Chile Sauce (4 Ounces, 12 Pack)

I love this - and I am sooo glad I found it - I was looking for the frozen red chili, which I have always used but the store I bought it from quit carrying it. To buy it on line was prohibitively expensive. I had almost given up when I found this and read a review. These are PERFECT and don't require refrigeration!!! They are shelf stable so they don't take up room in the freezer. The flavor is good, and the smaller size you use what you need and nothing more - it comes in a larger size, but I like the versatility of the smaller size. Ships next day with Prime.

I love this stuff, it is an excellent chili sauce, and a really convenient serving size for 1-2 people. For instance, we love tamales & refried beans. On them, my wife likes the El Pinto Salsa (that we easily go though a jar of every week) but I like the chili sauce, and we don't eat that much of it. Easy-- grab a cup, mix some into the beans for both of us (to zing them up, and dump the rest on my tamales, while she grabs the jar of salsa from the fridge.If you start eating this stuff, you'll just keep finding more users.It's wonderful!

For many years our household was a Las Palmas red chile sauce household. Then the pandemic hit. Availability of Las Palmas went down, and the price soared. So we tried this brand. It’s actually a lot better. This is our go-to now.

I love this sauce. It tastes like I made it. It is absolutely wonderful on beef tacos, burritos, etc., also great with eggs. I just wish there were larger containers of the stuff. Where I live (Minnesota), straight red chile pods, sauce, or puree are not available in any store. All of the sauce they sell here is blended with tomatoes or other stuff and doesn't taste right. This tastes like it should.
