I have purchased many different brands of Szechuan pepper corns. These are the most aromatic and numbing I've found outside pricy spice markets. Floral with a slightly astringent notes and a lasting buzz on the the tongue and lips.Perfect for making chili oil, hot pot broth or ground as a condiment for dishes like Dan Dan Mein.Decent shelf life.Definitely adding a dash button for reordering.

Wowsa! These are some awesome peppercorns. When I opened the bag, a fragrant aroma immediately filled my kitchen. (Compare this to a bag of red peppercorns bought at the local market which smell if you get your nose right in them). They are SO spicy and numbing (yet impossible to stop eating!) I added these to some Mala chicken, and it was wonderful. These are really high quality peppercorns that will make you smile.

The aroma of my peppercorns was awesome when the package was opened. There was also a nice recipe card in the package. Unfortunately, when I went to use, I discovered that a full 1/3 of the package was full of unopened pods, with the in-edible seeds inside. I understand that all Sichuan peppercorn bags will have SOME seeds, but this was the most I had ever encountered.

This is the real deal ! A lot of flavor and very fresh !Sure , you can buy much cheaper from asian stores , but it will taste like dry grass !It is worth it the money ! Great value !

Manufactured july 2019, expires july 2021. I better start making a lot of Sichuan food....

Good. I grind up and sprinkle on Asian foods and popcorn for a fun twist. Almost no seeds so I just grind it all together. Would buy again.
