I am not a newbie.I have raced FPV drones for years and have a couple cinema drones. This is the first receiver I've ever purchased with the channel pins broke out for you. Truth be told, my nephew bought his first RC plane ever and I sent him some goodies to get him started, one of which being this receiver. I thought it would be easy for him to put in the plane, bind and fly away. ...thought. I THOUGHT it would be easy.I was so frustrated that he couldn't get it to bind that I bought yet a second one of these and had it shipped to me (on the other side of the country). I thought it would be easier to show him how it's done over a video chat.I was so wrong.I cannot for the life of me figure out why I cannot bind my transmitter to this receiver. I'll spare you, the reader, from a list of all the combinations of things I've tried. I'll skip right to the end and say that no matter what I try, the only result I get after plugging in the receiver (of course having the F/S button pressed at the same time) is a solid red light followed by a solid green light barely a split second later.I suppose the PRO part of the product name implies you'll have to speak with the electrical engineer who designed it....?

Good news: Product is light-weight and compact. Bad news: Instructions require a magnifying glass to read, and multiple visits to YouTube to figure out how to Bind with transmitter. Three hours later, success - receiver bound to transmitter. It should not be this difficult.
