Perfect for needs vs wants
I went into this expecting a basic, budget-friendly pool—but this INTEX rectangular frame pool completely exceeded my expectations. First off, the size is perfect. It’s large enough for multiple people to comfortably relax or play, but still compact enough to fit in a normal backyard without taking over the entire space. The rectangular shape is a huge plus—it actually gives you usable room to stretch out, unlike round pools where space feels limited. One of my favorite things is the depth. At just under 30 inches, it’s absolutely perfect for kids. They can stand, play, and splash around safely without it feeling too deep or intimidating. My kids love it—they’ve been in it every chance they get, and it’s become the highlight of their day. The steel frame construction feels solid and well-built. Once assembled and filled, it holds its shape really well and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. You can tell right away that this isn’t one of those cheap, temporary pools—it’s designed to last through the season (and beyond if you take care of it). Setup was surprisingly straightforward. If you’ve got a level surface and take your time, you can have it ready without any major headaches. Definitely recommend having two people for faster assembly, but it’s not overly complicated. One thing to note—the pump is not included. That might seem like a downside at first, but honestly, it’s a benefit. It lets you choose a better quality pump instead of being stuck with a weak one. I paired mine with a stronger filter system, and the water has stayed crystal clear. Durability has been excellent so far. The liner feels thick and resistant, and it handles regular use without any issues. Kids, adults, splashing—no problem. Overall, this pool delivers serious value for the price. It’s sturdy, spacious, and practical. If you’re looking for a reliable above-ground pool that doesn’t feel cheap or cramped, this is an easy recommendation. Highly satisfied and would absolutely buy again.

Great pool so far!
So far so good! Got this built within a few hours by myself (35 year old female). Because it’s a million degrees in Texas, I decided to put it together in bite-sized chunks. Every time I let the dogs outside, I’d build another wall or two. Before I knew, it was ready for water! It’s filling as we speak, which may actually take a few hours because this medium-sized pool is actually quite large! It can easily fit several large adults comfortably. Looks and feels really durable, so we’ll see how it holds up. As for the ease of installation, I’d probably recommend it being a two person job, but definitely doable for one adult - just make sure to follow the instructions carefully, know where each pole goes, and take note of where the holes are on each because it really does matter. I know it may seem counterproductive to do the top first, as the instructions are stated, but it actually does make this build a lot easier. I’d say it’s absolutely worth the money so far, but we’ll see after a month or so of use! Note: I’m not using the filter parts because I don’t care to deal with it or purchase a pump, so I can’t speak to that. Also, I got this for myself and my fiance to cool off over the summer and I would absolutely call this an adult pool. Tips: • DO follow directions - don’t wing it, I guarantee you’ll likely have to take things apart and redo them. • DO leave it out for at least 24 hours as stated in the directions - it’s a surprisingly important first step. • Once fully built, make sure the side legs are completely out and pressed against the T-shaped holders at the bottom of the pool. This will ensure its stability. • For this particular size, I would NOT recommend children being left unattended, as it’s quite large and deep. I wouldn’t recommend for dogs either because it’s simply too large, unless you have a pony for a dog or don’t mind picking them up and taking them out - PLEASE don’t leave dogs/animals or children unattended with this pool. If you need that, this isn’t the pool for you. • If you don’t use the filter system, still make sure to put the stoppers in the filter holes so the water doesn’t drain out. (This can be an easy step to miss if you aren’t careful) • I recommend a small chlorine floater that uses the small tablets. Super easy and cheap for maintenance. • I also recommend a cover whether you do or don’t use the filter system. This will keep it much cleaner and help ensure that small wildlife doesn’t get in that can’t get out. • If you don’t want to spring for a net for cleaning, just pull debris out by hand or use a colander or kitchen sieve. Simple and effective!

Perfect Backyard Pool For The Whole Familu
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Backyard Pool for the Whole Family! We recently purchased this 6ft by 9ft Intex above-ground pool from Amazon, and it has been one of the best summer buys for our family! It’s the perfect size for our toddlers (ages 3 and 5) to splash around safely, and there’s even enough room for adults to sit and relax comfortably. Setup was a breeze — it took very little time and effort to get it up and running. We filled it using our well water without any issues. The quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy and durable even after repeated use. If you're looking for a fun, affordable, and easy-to-maintain pool for young kids — with enough space for parents to join in too — this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for families with little ones who want to stay cool and entertained all summer long!

Great overall
From the second it got delivered to filling it up completely, it only took two hours TOTAL. This is the 9ftX6ft pool, we also separately bought the intex C530 pump which was very easy to set up and get running, along with the intex skimmer and 3” chlorine tabs. The only issue we’ve run into is the sides of the metal frame bowing inwards. They were caving in from the second we started building it but I’ve read other reviews though and it seems to be a common thing, hopefully it won’t become an issue. We leveled out the ground under it and put fake grass down as padding instead of a tarp. It’s a great size, fit myself (5’7”) my husband (6ft) and our three year old with tons of room to spare. So far no leaks or holes

Nice pool!
Easy enough setup. Instructions were clear and all parts were marked. My wife and I set it up in less than an hour and that includes pulling all the wrinkles out of the bottom of the liner with the inch of water in it. We bought the 2' x 2' x 1/2" exercise mats to set it up on the back of our patio. I think that was a lot better than using just a tarp/groundcloth. Much nicer feel when you're in the pool. I did buy a 530gph pump (not the Intex) and used some of the hoses, filter heads and connectors that came with the pool, along with some parts from the pump package. The Intex parts just seemed better. We love it for relaxing with an adult beverage on a hot afternoon. I'm sure the grandkids are going to love it this next weekend when they visit,

Great pool! There are some tricks though.
This pool was bigger than we expected and takes up a chunk of our patio, but we love it so much! We opted to not use a ladder and just have a step stool - works for everyone just fine. It is very sturdy and works perfectly for our family. We didn't check our patio to make sure it is level, but it turned out just fine! Took maybe 30 minutes to put it together with my husband. I bought a cheap solar cover and it works fantastic to keep the temperature from dropping in the water at night. It also keeps the stuff from the trees out of the pool when the wind blows. It was a game changer, as the water kept getting too cold. We have a 1" chlorine floater and I do two chlorine tabs at a time, always making sure when they start to get small that I add another two (a few days apart). I do have liquid chlorine ($5 at a big box store) and have added a couple capfuls after heavy use. But the floater seems to do fine! I did have to use quite a bit of chlorine stabilizer right at the beginning but it lasts for a long time. It takes forever to dissolve so I put it in a reusable mesh produce bag and tie it to the hose where the water comes back in to the pool from the pump. That way we can swim while it dissolves over a day or two in the moving water. I have all the other chemicals on hand (Ph up and down, baking soda for alkaline). But I have only had to use baking soda one time. I check the test strip every morning. A lesson learned - another reviewer said to make sure you have a few inches between the leg and the edge of the patio, which we did. It was fine at first, but a few days in, the leg went off the patio. When the pool fills, the legs spread! We put some wood under them and that works fine for this summer. I use a pool skimmer (pole with a net) to clean the surface and the bottom, however, I think a pool vacuum would be better for this size. I may do that next summer. We wish we had bought this years ago! We use it almost every day and our granddaughter enjoys it so much.

Just right!
Fantastic pool for my granddaughter to play in. Just right for her to be able to splash around on a hot summer day. It is sturdy and reliable. Setup was surprisingly easy. It does not come with the pump or cover, I ordered those separately, which was not extremely expensive.

Had a great summer with the pool!
Sturdy! We sat on the corners when only soaking our legs. Set up was easy with the help of my mom. Make sure the area you will place it is level. We placed it on the grass, it was easy to move around when empty. once its filled a couple of inches you can see if its level or not. We loved it and whoever saw it always asked where we got it. I saw a few videos on youtube regarding maintaining it, bought pucks, brushed it daily but once I got a dollarstore tarp for it the maintenance was cut down a lot! It was covered nightly and when not in use. We only needed to change the water once - it was not covered, rained all week and the water went green. I also got a special sponge to pick up oils etc. Get a basic pump to keep it clean and inviting. Well worth the investment. Can't wait until next summer! I have yet to pack it up this year so will update if any issues.

This is no paddling pool, this is a holiday in a box!
This is one mighty impressive 'paddling pool'! In fact, it's not paddling pool, but instead quite an awesome pool for anyone under 1.5m heigh to have in their garden. We ordered it on Wednesday, it arrived on Friday, It's Saturday today and it's up despite the wind. The kids (aged 5, 4, 2) insisted we put it up and that the sun is hot enough. It took us about half an hour to put up, and this could take less if we didn't have the 3 small helpers. Instructions suggest using a ground sheet (which is not included with the pool), so you might want to consider getting one. Instructions also suggest quite a lot of space all around the pool (which we just haven't got, so ours stands 1m away from the wall on one side and 1 m away from the fence on the other). It also says it shouldn't be installed on a decking, but we also ignored that bit in the hope we don't regret it later on when the whole decking collapses! Size-wise, this is the size of an average new-build bathroom if not larger! So think twice before you go for the 2x3m one! We've only filled it about 1/4 so far and this took over an hour on main pressure system! A LOT of water will go into this, so definitely get yourself a cover too. I am yet to investigate pumps and potentially heaters, but seeing the size of it and how nice it feels to just sit next to it on a lounger I can see myself making use of it while the kids are at school, and so a heater could be useful! The pool seems sturdy, the material thick and robust, the poles fairly light but pretty tough. The 4 seats (one on each corner as you can see on the photo) are a nice touch. I don't see myself sitting on it, but kids have already made use of them as cup stands while they played pouring water from one to the other. They make nice drinks holders too. (My) Children need lifting in and out of the pool as the edge is too high for them to just leap over. To me this is a positive as I can keep track of who is in and who is out of the water. I can't comment on durability, ease of taking it apart for storage etc, BUT with past experience in mind (and many inflatable pools of various sizes, quality and cost) if this lasts us from now until mid September, and is then never used again, it's been a good investment.
