I ordered the 15x12 walnut cutting board and I could not be more pleased! I gave this gift to a friend who just moved into her first home and rather than her last name, I had 'priscilla's kitchen' engraved, and it is beautiful. The photos do not do justice to the true beauty of the wood because of the lighting. It is consistently dark and shows the beautiful grain of the wood. Before placing the order, I reached out to the seller to confirm it would turn out as expected since I wanted to do something out of the ordinary, and I received quick replies and confirmation it would work. My friend loves her very unique gift.

I was very disappointed and unhappy with the dark color of the customized arched walnut board I received. I purchased this product for $130 to give friends as a wedding gift. The walnut board in the photo, on the listing I purchased from, has a much lighter grain. The board I received was 10 times darker (huge difference) to the point where I could not see the wood grain and barely read the script. The walnut board was useless to me and I did not gift it. Wedding Gift Boutique would not replace it. They only offered me a 25% discount on a new customized board price if I'd like to re-order a new one.

As one other person mentioned the engraving may not be noticeable. And the seller does at least try and warn us but if you are hasty like i was and don't read all of the descriptions...you will probably be dissapointed. The whole point of these boards is the engraving so if it is hardly visible you are wasting your money. The pictures all make the lettering/engraving appear darker as though it was burned. In reality the boards look like they are etched. And this is a no return item....so be careful. And as a comment, i don't think the seller is trying to misrepresent, it's just the photos are professionally staged...probably much better lighting than normal.

My brother lives in Boston and I got him the Boston skyline with "Welcome Home" for his new house purchase. The cuttingboard was excellent when delivered. I choose the largest size made from sapele wood (my favorite.) We can see the engraving perfectly in this color. I took into consideration if you get walnut it is very dark wood and harder to see engravings that are not thick. I did notice a slight imperfection on the bottom through the bushes and skyline, which was just from it being carved out of solid wood. At first it looked like a crack which would make it unusable, but it was sanded down enough to not ruin it. My brother absolutely loved his home warming gift!! I don't think I could have gotten him anything better. I will say I would recommend making the carving on the opposite side of the board to cut since the juice groove was on the side of the skyline. It would be nice to not ruin the skyline with cutting slices for people that will actually use it. I was hoping for some discount card inside to buy another, but no luck. Instructions to care for the wood with ok and such are in the box.

I so wanted to LOVE this board. The craftsmanship, NYC Skyline option & length of personalization made me finally, after more than a year, on my bucket list, choose this one. I have a personal fb page, & bought it, for when i post pictures of my desserts or other culinary items. But the vowels don’t look like the vowelsa is much smaller than other lower case letters & the circle of the a should be bigger, the 2 s’s look like j’s & the e’s look like i’s. Like it, but don’t love it. Script with larger fonts & true to form lettering would have been perfect. This looks like comic font.Perfectionist that I am, i’m going yo have to find another cutting board to fall in love with. But these arent cheap & I will have to wait & find another mfg. but it wont have the skyline option.Mfg has another board i like. Might get that one at another time. Great quality, looks great, skyline beautiful. Improve the font, or offer font options or **preview of how it will look**, before purchasing, & it will be perfect

This is a beautiful piece exactly as pictured but nicer in person. Purchased as a gift for my wife and she loves the piece. I don’t think she’ll actually use it to cut anything on it?!? She seems to enjoy the beauty of it and with the stainless steel stand it goes very nicely anywhere she wants to place it on our counter in the kitchen. Additionally, I would really like to make mention that the seller is very responsive to any questions and any issues alike. My stand was shipped separately, in error, and the seller was very quick to send me the information and tracking number. I will purchase again, they have very nice gift pieces and the quality is outstanding. Thank you!

My daughter and son in-law loved this! We gave this personalized gift to them with their wedding date on it. It’s sturdy and beautiful, the detail color and design is great. Absolutely worth the money.

I would give it 100 stars if I could. I was a little apprehensive about ordering a wedding gift that I wouldn't see before the bride and groom did but I was immensely relieved when they told me how thrilled they were. They sent me a picture and I can honestly tell you it was EXACTLY as pictured on the web site. I can't say enough positive things about the purchase. From the beginning to viewing the final product I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to give that really special gift!
