Globe Electric 58" Matte Black Floor Lamp with White Linen Shade

Bought this for my baby’s nursery and absolutely love it! So cute. So lightweight. Easy to put together! Elevates the room.

Really nice floor lamp for the money. I have been looking for wooden: birch or maple floor lamp to complement my existing ones. Having failed at that, I purchased this faux wood painted metal shaft floor lamp. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this lamp is & it’s quality, with a lovely pull fob, substantial shaft and sturdy base. It looks like a nice light wood. I rated it 5 stars but wanted to give it a 4.5 stars because the lampshade is pleated & a little small for the lamp. I understand why this shade is provided because it ingenuously folds over itself & makes it convenient for shipping. I have since replaced it with a larger non - pleated shade. Love the lamp!!

The lamp arrived early and was very easy to assemble, and very sturdy. It looks nice overall, but the shades have a noticeable defect on the sides that makes them look a bit cheap. Because of that, I’m giving it four stars. Otherwise, I’m happy with the purchase and may replace the shades later.

These were very easy to assemble and came well packaged. Look beautiful in the space.

Sturdy, heavy metal floor lamp. Easy to assemble. No light bulb came with the lamp, but it was sturdy, looked and felt of good quality. Great value.

This is an attractive lamp with a lovely finish. The base is heavy and stable. I was initially disconcerted by the fact that the pole did not easily slip down into the base. Then I felt inside the support "lip" for the lamp pole and felt a tiny screw protruding into the open channel into which the pole should fit. I then realized I had to remove this screw, which presented the next problem. I couldn't find a tool to do so. I did then see it attached to the box in a small plastic bag but not until I had fetched a kitchen knife with a pin-point tip (cheap steak knife you can buy in grocery stores). Anyhow this thin-tipped knife allowed me to unscrew the screw, slip in the pole, and screw it in again. Voila! By the way, the tool provided didn't actually work on the screw, so I'm glad I had an alternate tool in the kitchen utensil. Beside these small hassles, I am quite pleased with the lamp. Do note you can not use any wattage beyond 60.

I was very excited when I found these lights on Amazon. I've been looking for something like these for the last 6 months, and they looked like they'd match my decor perfectly! I was pleasantly surprised today when they showed up at my door a day early (thanks Amazon)! I bought these lamps to put in a room that currently has no lighting option in it. Disappointingly, after putting these lamps together, they really don't omit much light at all. Decor wise they look great, except for the lamp shades. In the description it says the lamp shades are white, these lamp shades are definitely NOT white!! My walls are a light tan-ish/beige color....these lamp shades blend right into the wall. So now I still have a dark room, and lamps with the wrong color lamp shades. Now I have to decide if I want to go spend even more money to buy white lamp shades that I should have already received, or do I sit and take both these lamps all apart (they were hell to get together) and put them back in the box the best I can to return them (which I can't do any time soon because everything is closed due to the Coronavirus)....just frustrating and disappointing. The assembly for these are awful! It really should be quick and easy, but with the design of the lamps it's almost impossible to get the screws screwed out and then back in (even then, when they're screwed completely in they are not flush with the lamp). The second lamp I put together I couldn't even get two screws in on one side because it wasn't pushed in flush. I even called a big guy from next door to come over and help me to get it pushed in all the way so I can get the screws in, and he couldn't even get it. PLEASE update your description of the lamps online!!! They definitely should NOT be rated 5 out of 5 stars for brightness, and the lamp shades are NOT white.

I bought this floor lamp because of the slender shade ( which I love!). Assembly was easy, although the shade was awkward getting it shaped and attached to it's metal frame. It's got some weight to it so it stays put. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. It's perfect.

A couple things of note. The package contains those boocks if Styrofoam that particulate into little balls incredibly easily so expect to make a mess unpacking it. They've got all the sections linked together due to the electrical cord, which is how it has to be, but between the cardboard, layers of tape, and all of it being sandwiched around this foam makes for a frustrating unboxing. Assembly was easy. They they include the offset wrench needed but you'll also want a Phillips screwdriver, the longer the better because its a weird angle. They look good when assembled. The paint was flawless and a nice matte black. The weight at the bottom is sufficient. The shades just balance on the bulb which means they easily become off level. One of mine refused to level (i read this in another review as well). All I did was add a little bit of masking tape to the ring that balances on the bulb and the tiny bit of friction allowed me to level it. I would only do this with LED bulbs as an incandescent may burn the tape. Overall happy due to the price.

When I bought this lamp, the first one had misaligned holes for the screws.... had to unmount it since I was half way done..... Trouble to repack, and return.... The next one was fine. It looks good and pretty happy with purchase. I just wish the screws were more flush to the structure.

At first, I was hesitant to purchase this product by all the negative reviews on it. Most reviews stated that the screws would not line up. I found this product to be very easy to assemble, and with the other 2 lamps in the collection, it makes for a good modern set up. The base is very sturdy, you won't find a lamp with a set collection for any cheaper that still looks good. All furniture stores are outrageously prices for lamps that just collect dust. Overall, I recommend and I recommend the set as a whole.
