Steam Iron, 1700W Professional Iron for Clothes with Retractable Cord, Variable Temperature and Steam Control, Non-Stick Soleplate, Anti-Drip & Self-Cleaning, 2020 Upgraded

Our old steam iron was hard to fill with water and always would steam or leakout water when I did not want it to. This iron is perfect. First, it replaces the need for a separate steam iron for unwrinkling clothes on a hanger. I was able to de-wrinkle my daughter's dress on a hanger with this iron in a matter of moments. The unit heated up very quickly. I also was able to put on an iron-on to a shirt for camp, and that worked perfectly. The iron slid over the clothing and there was no catching on the holes or anything on the bottom. The controls are all simple and easy to understand, and react well when you change a setting during your ironing session. And did I say the coolest feature of all? A retractable cord. This seems like a silly gimmick but the reality is it makes it so easy to store this thing. I am so glad I got this iron!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The steam iron arrived earlier than I expected, which is awsome.It's pretty light in terms of weight and you wounldn't feel any fatigue even after you have been using it for a while.I appreciate its delicate design. Water doesn't spill over when refilling the stream iron. It also came with a measuring cup.In addition, I personally like its the telescoping feature. With the telescoping cable, you wouldn't need to spend much time on tidying; what you'd need to do is simply pressing the button and tdying would be done immediately! How efficient!It is made of stainless steel, while the bottom being fortified with a copper base. Anyway, it is an affordable and easy-to-use iron for those of you who'd need to tackle the occasional wrinkled outfit or linen.

I was pleasantly surprised when my iron came four days earlier than expected. It's not too heavy, but not too light that it wouldn't put some pressure on what I was ironing. The water fill port is large enough not to make a mess when filling up and a water cup is included. I love the fact that it has a retractable cord. It is very convenient for storage. It worked well when I pulled the cord out, however it does not always retract all the way when I press the button to retract it. Sometimes I have to do a little extra work to get it to go in all the way. After plugging it in, a light comes on. When the iron gets to temperature, the light turns off. The steam works well. It didn't drip at all for me. I was able to get the wrinkles out of my linen shorts. It feels like a iron you would find in a hotel room, but for the price it performs well. Note that it is a non-stick plate and not a chromed plate. Overall, I think this is a good iron for the low price point.

I am not sure whether my issue was with this particular unit or the model as I only order one. I did chose this specific one for the retractable cord and I tried many times and it was always getting stuck in the middle. I would pull it out again and try again and same thing. Finally when I was able to get it back in after 15min I decided this was too much effort and i sent it back.Since I did not even plug or fill the unit so I cannot attest of it's qualities in terms of ironing, it may be great but I will never know and I'm not taking the chance to order another one to try.

In 1981 GE made the Best Steam Iron on the market! I know, I received one, and it still works! However, there have been some upgraded features that 1981 could not have dreamt of so many Years Ago!! My NEW KEALIVE 1400W max Stream Pro Super had wrapped up all the best, new features in this Super Smooth Glide, easy to handle, anatomically friendly, super package that we still call an IRON!I am so glad I let them talk me into an upgrade! They Were Right!!I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS MISSING ! ! !

For the size of the iron it was not too heavy to use. It worked well for ironing event tablecloths and everyday shirts. Love that it has a retractable cord. It was easy to fill the water reservoir with the included pour cup. Overall a good iron for the price.

Be sure and read directions - the steam option is a trick to get used to utilizing. Do not use as regular iron (touching clothing) with steam option on, it will leave burn residue on iron plate. Need to hover just above clothing for optimal use. My original order item was completely left with burn residue, but after communication with the merchant, they gracefully replaced and sent a new iron! The communication and service was excellent and they definitely care about providing the best service experience - for which I was pleased and greatful.

still no sure how to adjust. NO automatic shutoff. I read it had one. THIS ONE DOES NOT. Other then that Great iron. BUT I GOT RID OF a better brand iron that shut off after a minute..drove me crazy..and i get one that won't shut off..oh well..good iron for moneyi'd give it a 5 star if it had a turn off time? if im missing something tell me. I'll change my review.
