iPhone Xs max case

Just received the case today. Unfortunately, despite all the glowing reviews, the cut of the case is not a correct fit for the Galaxy Note Edge. In the case I received, the lower-left corner of case will not go in enough to reach the ridge-line of phone like it does all other three corners, and as such it does not provide enough protection to the lower-left corner should that surface hits the ground first. The line the case forms does not match the product photos shown on Amazon, where all four sides of case form straight parallel lines with the ridges of phone and fit tightly. I wonder whether this is just a bad case I received from a bad batch or it is due to a design defect for this project. Have photos to show what I'm talking about. I hope the manufacturer can contact me to replace this defective case.[update 2015/1/29. changing from 2 to 4 stars]I wasn't contacted by Rearth (manufacturer/seller) but couldn't fault them for not reading everyone's review/complaint. So I emailed them and called them, following their instructions on Amazon for contacting them. Initially, got answering machine, left message, but no replies at all for 3-4 days. I called again to find a live person. Said I emailed their official email address to report the defect. He said the official email "does not work". Gave me his email (for work). I forwarded my original email to him. Again, no replies for 1-2 days, contrary to what he said. Finally, I called to get a second live person. This person gave me his email (for work). I forwarded to him the same defect report. This time, he immediately replied and processed to send me a replacement.The new replacement case came a few days later. A perfect fit. So, the original case was really defective. I didn't have to pay anything for getting the replacement. Didn't need to send back the defective one.Summary: Except for some initial non-response from customer service, all is well in the end. I recommend getting this case for your Galaxy Note Edge because it is a perfect fit (when it is not defective). Just make sure you get a replacement if you find something wrong like I did.

All of these TPU cases for the Samsung Note Edge will all have the same design - because of the unique shape of the phone, no case will be able to protect it fully.However, to its credit, when you do flip the phone over to lay it on its screen side, the lip is robust enough so that it still keeps the whole phone off the ground, so it will not be scratched while just laying face-down.The best solution is to get the "folio" style cases, that has a lid to cover over the screen. Otherwise, you are prone to scratch the screen as the "lip" of these TPU style cases won't be able to cover over the edge portion.The only negative trade-off is the extra flip cover that you would have to fold back while using the phone, making it very inconvenient. It is good for seeing the edge portion, but not so good for its protection.

So far so good. The case is slim, so it does not add too much bulk while still protecting every edge of the phone. The port holes are large enough so that I don't have any problems accessing the S-Pen, using the factory USB cable or plugging in my headphones (I have both Monster sport ebuds and the Monster cordless one-ear which have a 45° angle plug).The only draw back is one I find to be common with the these full wrap cases, and that is the seam that can irritate the finger you use to balance the ohine when you type. Basically, these are manufactured using injection molds, and sharp seam is created the left and right sides of the mold meet, called flash. I have yet to find a case where the manufacturer takes the time to smooth out the fash before distribution. I find that a fine grit nail file works to remedy this issue. Since the sides of the case are matte, it does not affect the looked of the case.Manufacturer: If you want 5☆, smooth out the flashing.

I know there's a disadvantage to having a Note edge. There's not many options for cases and due to the size of the phone there is a disadvantage when it comes to bulk. My biggest problem is the fact that all of them are so smooth. I want something for my fingers to cling to on the back. The best protection from drops is being able to have some kind of grip. Although the cases is smooth, it does have a little bit of a rubbery feel to it even though its not as grippy as I want. It's also one of the smaller cases I have seen so far. Protection wise it may not be the best but it has a little lip around the edges. I can go ahead and tell you that I know this is going to Yellow. It's not as crystal clear as I anticipated but honestly for the price I'm not going to throw a fit about that. If I had a white phone then it would probably be a bigger issue.

They must have improved the product because it fits well, all ports are available and feels good in the hand. I had the Samsung wallet folio for the last year, but after a few occasional drops, the edges where the case didn't cover are chipped and scratched. This cover fits well over these areas and looks good. The edges are frosted, but the back is crystal. I like the frosted edges because it gives it the phone a different feel. Once on, push the edges on, and it fits snug. I don't worry about the screen, because after a few face down falls, prior to this case, it's been fine.

Very happy with this case every port & hole lines up perfect and fits the phone like a glove. Really love the quality of this case, probably one of the best I have bought.The edge is a difficult phone to protect without bulking it up, this case has adequate protection without the bulk.Packaging was eco friendly too, I am all about a company who cares about the environment, came in biodegradable plastic.

For this price, you can't ask for much more. Snug fit.
