Creality Ender 3 Complete Auto Bed Leveling Kit Glass Compatible. with Bootloader Burning Tool - Firmware Included

This complete ABL kit really is everything you need to install and set up auto bed leveling for your Ender 3. Being brand new to 3d printing I was initially a bit hesitant to try adding an ABL, but I think that anyone with decent mechanical skills, even if they have no prior programming or g code experience, could handle it with this kit *as long as they followed each step in the directions exactly*.Full disclosure: Even though the directions they've supplied on the USB drive were written pretty clearly and include good illustrations, I did have some trouble during setup (due entirely to me rushing through the installation process). After floundering for a couple of days, I sent off an email to Uptanium, and as it was past 5pm PST I figured I might hear back from them some time the next day. To my surprise I received a reply barely 10 minutes later!Brian was super helpful, and walked me through the steps to fix the problem I'd emailed about (while trying to correct an unintentional additional Z offset I'd stored on my printer, I managed to wipe the firmware off my printer and couldn't get the new firmware to load), Brian made sure I got my Z axis issue cleared up. During the whole interaction he gave directions in a clear, conversational way that a complete novice (i.e. me) could easily follow.I ordered the Uptanium ABL kit for my Ender 3 several months ago, but i hadn't found the time to install it until about 6 weeks ago. The kit itself is of great quality, installation was very straightforward. The provided instructions are easy to follow and understand, and are exceptionally detailed.After the installation I ran into some problems with the calibration, I went through the procedure from step 35 over and over, but no matter what, the right side of the bed just wasn't printing correctly, the nozzle would consistently remain about 1.5 mm too high. After several days of failed attempts, finally I contacted support describing my issue and go a reply almost immediately, within 15 minutes!Brian is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and advised me to check a few things, namely to see if perhaps my X gantry was level, as they are prone to droop to the right on the Ender 3, and to also check if my bed was 'wobbling' any, as this also contributes. He sent along detailed information and a help guide as well. Sure enough, he was correct, both needed adjustment. I made the necessary adjustments, and calibarated the sensor once again, and soon after, my prints were coming out perfectly.Then about a week ago, the capacitive sensor apparently failed, it was constantly triggered, and after much research and experimentation, I finally reached out to Brian (via email) once again, seeking advice. This was at 11:35 PM on a Sunday, and he replied back in 12 minutes!! After several emails back and forth, we concluded that indeed, the sensor failed. Brian immediately shipped me a replacement sensor, I installed it, calibrated it (only had to go through the procedure twice to dial it in perfectly this time), and now my ender 3 is back up and running great.Anyone thinking about buying this ABL kit, I highly encourage you to make the purchase, even if you have problems, you're in excellent hands with a guy who is absolutely willing and eager to help you get it going. I have no regrets, I'm very happy with the Uptanium ABL kit.

I'm willing to give Uptanium Auto Bed Leveler Kit 5 stars.I've been working on my Creality Ender 3 Pro printer for about 2 weeks now since I unboxed it. Had it working well with manual bed leveling but wanted to move to ABL, one of the reasons I selected Ender.First, Uptanium wasn't delivering their product when I was ready to order it. The fact it was designed by two Ohio engineers, well tested convinced me to pay the premium over some of the BL Touch kits available through Amazon. Been a 3D printing hobbiest for 5 plus years and was ready to toss my DaVinci for something that could do more.When Uptanium had a ship date for their product I immediately ordered and it came as promised with in the week.Following their installation guide is clear and precise. The mechanics were excellent, everything fit as describe except the nylon screws to secure the print bed. If you have a Ender 3 Pro, you probably have a magnetic print surface. The nylon screws are tight as they need to be but the magnetic surface film hides the screw heads so there is no way to put the nylon screws on if you don't want to cut the film.This was my first email to Uptanium. It was Saturday and I didn't expect a response till Monday, in two hours I had a response recommending I keep the original bed mechanism in place rather than cut the film.Went about the steps to set the Z offset and if I hadn't go back and forth with it but just followed their instructions in one pass I think I would have saved a day of trouble shooting. Was getting "Probing Errors" from the Octoprint server and fired off another email to Uptanium Sunday. Figured it would be Monday again but again I got a response in a couple of hours. After some discussion we made sure the Z offset range was about -3.0. (I was so finicky that I had the Z offset down to -0.3 which was causing the probing errors.) Now I understand the concept better with Uptaniums help and am printing with out any problems.So in summary:Exceptionally well written instructions that are easy to follow.Very responsive help desk through emails.Quality product.I hardly recommend Uptanium.
